Loved the unique charm of the railway station converted to a hotel. Vintage stone and woodwork make this a one-of-a-kind place. The room was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a nice assortment of breads, sweetrolls, and cereals. Nothing hot, but we stayed midweek, so that may change on the weekends. We ate dinner one night at the adjoining restaurant and the food was delicious, not overpriced, and the service was great. The king bed in our room was not the most comfortable, but that is the only negative comment I have. We would stay here again if in the area, and would recommend it!

We travel across Kansas fairly often and always make a point to stay at the Midland Railroad Hotel. Quaint old hotel with modern updates, a GREAT restaurant, and on weekends there is a cute barn/bar right on the property.

Very cool old Hotel. The staff was super friendly and the food at the restaurant downstairs was excellent and very reasonable. There is a very interesting outdoor display area next to the hotel with statues, sculptures and games. Also an indoor bar which was not open when we were there.

The staff were incredibly friendly! The room was clean with beautiful wood furniture. There was a bluegrass festival occurring at the same time. So music was an added bonus. We ate at the attached restaurant. It was fine. I loved all the history of the hotel. And the Czech Egg!!!

This quaint, local hotel is full of history! We had a view of the World’s Largest Czech Egg that is located in Wilson from our 2nd floor room. Great coffee in the lobby!

This property has tons of charm and character. The restaurant is good, the beds are comfy even if the front desk lady was a little surly. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back if we find ourselves near Wilson again.

There was an issue where the property can’t see what is booked through Expedia so they put us in a queen when we booked a king. They quickly rectified this, put us in a king and waived our pet fees. Everything was excellent with this historical hotel. The location and amenities are top notch and it was such a fun, but interesting step back in time. Included breakfast was good and there a restaurant in the basement that is awesome! There were s art, chickens, historical monuments, and natural beauty. We had an amazing time and will stay again! Highly recommend this hotel especially when traveling with dogs❤️❤️

Third time I’ve stayed here for work. Very cute hotel and quaint town. While the room doesn’t have much work space, there’s seating downstairs and they’ve never minded me setting up. Water pressure and temp were fantastic! Wish the tv came out a little more of the doors slid back for better viewing at angles but I made it work. Restaurant is pretty good. But definitely walk around the property for hidden treasures! Namely a sweet town car and chickens! Little grocery store has some staples and the little coffee shop is very cute but I recommend adding cold brew!

Liked: Charming and quaint stay, Easy check in. Lovely Queen bed with wooden floors and finishes with penny round tiles and chrome fixtures in bathroom. Fast wifi. Lovely silver tin filled with ice provided for a bottle of wine purchased at bar downstairs with wine glasses so we could relax while with Fido. Nice Kuerig coffee machine. Steps away from Czech egg! Very pet friendly and cute chickens in backyard! Would absolutely stay here again! Dislike: Not much to dislike other than that the breakfast was very basic.
