Great location within walking distance of the pocket-sized historic town of Wilson and limestone opera house and a short drive from Lucas and the Garden of Eden house. Too bad we won't be in Wilson for the upcoming blues show.

Very cool old Hotel. The staff was super friendly and the food at the restaurant downstairs was excellent and very reasonable. There is a very interesting outdoor display area next to the hotel with statues, sculptures and games. Also an indoor bar which was not open when we were there.

The staff were incredibly friendly! The room was clean with beautiful wood furniture. There was a bluegrass festival occurring at the same time. So music was an added bonus. We ate at the attached restaurant. It was fine. I loved all the history of the hotel. And the Czech Egg!!!

This quaint, local hotel is full of history! We had a view of the World’s Largest Czech Egg that is located in Wilson from our 2nd floor room. Great coffee in the lobby!

Historic Rail Road Hotel in a quaint Czech Kansas town. The historic aspects of the hotel are its strengths and weaknesses. The hotel retains its original foot print, meaning the rooms are small. However they have been updated with good beds and bathrooms. Unfortunately, some of the hallways and stairwells are quite worn. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Great place for adventurous travelers. Sample Room Bar and dining room are beautiful and have a great atmosphere.

There was an issue where the property can’t see what is booked through Expedia so they put us in a queen when we booked a king. They quickly rectified this, put us in a king and waived our pet fees. Everything was excellent with this historical hotel. The location and amenities are top notch and it was such a fun, but interesting step back in time. Included breakfast was good and there a restaurant in the basement that is awesome! There were s art, chickens, historical monuments, and natural beauty. We had an amazing time and will stay again! Highly recommend this hotel especially when traveling with dogs❤️❤️
