“I had a great stay overall — the motel was clean, quiet, and well‑kept, with friendly staff and solid value for the price. The rooms were on the smaller side and the bed felt a bit cramped for two people; a different room layout might make the space feel more comfortable. Aside from that, everything worked well and the stay was genuinely pleasant. The outdoor BBQ and table were a great bonus and made the space feel welcoming. I’d happily return for a short visit.”

“My husband and I stayed here once before and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, that is why we returned. We brought our small Scotty dog and were treated so well. The room was beautifully appointed, breakfast was delicious as was the am coffee. We also enjoyed our complimentary wine and chocolates, thank you. We were met by the hostess who joined us for a tasting even though she was expected out for dinner as it was her birthday. The wine tasting and wines were also superb. I can’t say enough……

“We travelled to Penticton for a family gathering the last weekend in May. The Balcomo was perfect for some of our get togethers. The pool was heated and so nice. We loved the hot tub, cold plunge pool and the dry sauna- literally felt like we were at a spa! The restaurant was fabulous. The room we were in was great- everything we needed and super clean. The grounds are extremely well maintained and beautiful! We are already planning to return! Can’t say enough on how much we loved our stay.”

“Great location! Room had been renovated but several items were dated. Pretty clean and we definitely felt safe and secure at the place. It’s about what we had expected although the a/c was very loud and kept kicking out. Otherwise a good night stay in a beautiful spot with a low star rating.”

“Had a family reunion booked at the hotel the pool area combined with their outdoor cooking area was an amazing surprise. The locations proximity to the boardwalk along the lake was a definite bonus.Great experience will definitely book again if in the area.”

“The staff was very friendly and quick to help in any way we needed. Our room was exceptionally clean as was the grounds. The pool looked well maintained and up and running already at the beginning of June. There are barbecues and tables to use outside. The grounds are looked after well with lawn, a small fountain and flowers. It is a 7 minute walk to the main beach at Skaha lake. 5-10 min walk to places for breakfast, lunch, dinner and icecream. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is the……

“It's a very old facility, in a rough part of Penticton. There are lots of fast food places all around, and it's close to the hospital. Rooms smell like hospital rooms. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, but it was very clean. Part of the Inn is rented out on a monthly basis. You get what you pay for, nothing else. ”
