“We loved the cabin and our small dogs loved the fenced yard where they could roam without a lead (they are city dogs and always on a leash when outside). The only disappointment was we could not access the sandbar because the river was above flood stage our entire trip. Was very relaxing to just nag out and read! The kitchen is very well appointed.”

Not only is it roomy inside but the children enjoyed playing in the water outside. Thank you for allowing us to stay here. The grounds were well maintained and the home is located in a peaceful neighborhood. There is a very good restaurant on the next block. Excellent communication from the host Donna. “Our family absolutely loved staying here. Tranquility only begins to describe this beautiful place. The grounds are amazing and the Hope House is a showpiece. Everything you need for respite and renewal is there and you will not find better hosts than George and Brenda anywhere. We will definitely be returning. “Not what I was expecting but more than I was expecting at the same time. The house needs to be lit up on the outside as it is on a dark dirt road and the owner already said she will take care of that. Very comfortable and cute place to stay while we were visiting Statesboro.”
