「The location was absolutely stunning and the cabin was cosy and felt very idylic. The hosts are absolutely lovely and we were made to feel as welcome as possible at every opportunity. Will absolutely be looking at coming back soon」

「The cabin was nice but i booked 2 days and only got to stay for one. I wasnt sent the info to get in (acess code) and couldn't get in contact with them until the 2nd day. Vrbo couldnt either. They told me i would get reimbursed but still have not. They were nice on the phone once i finally got in contact with them but the not being reimbursed due to them not allow me access in a timely fashion and having to book a hotelfor that first night really just kinda bothers me still.」

「Cabin was right up by road heard traffic constant ,neighbors was just across street cutting grass heard lawnmower running ,oil rig running a very noisy place to stay no solitude.」

「We had such a unique experience at our rustic cabin. We were greeted by a horse, dogs, chickens, and more! Michelle, the owner went out of her way to make sure that all of our needs were met. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking to get in touch with nature but does not want to go tent camping. 」

「Overall we had a nice stay. Clean, quiet and nice location in the small town of Nelsonville. Only comment on advice related to breakfast is get there when it's planned to start as there's a set amount of food and that is it. Food was good but we were a little late getting to the first come first serve style. But overall was a very nice stay.」

「Spent one night here as it was a half way point to our final destination. Quaint over 100 year old historical building. We pretty much had the place to ourselves as no one but guests stay on the property. Other guests arrived after midnight but we never saw them. Walkable distance to small downtown with several bars and restaurants. Morning breakfast was usual fare but could have been kept a little warmer. In fact since there was only the two of us, the cook should consider made to order eggs,...

「Very cozy cabin in a quite setting. Neighbors are close to the fire pit, but we never saw them. The fresh eggs were a great touch, and the welcome to the family sign was nice as well. I would stay again.」

「It was ok for what we wanted. The heat is an issue. It was definitely very cold in the back room. The "kitchen" is tiny, but comparable to a hotel kitchenette. The property is nice and the people are nice.」

「You won’t get claustrophobia here - open, rustic decor, feels a bit like a really big, cool man cave. Two games could use some attention — small version of foosball needs repaired or replaced; the bumper pool table needs nuts to hold down the bumpers; the jute box needs repairing as well. The hiking was outta this world! Reminds us so much of many spots in Zion National Park in Utah. Ohio’s best kept secret!」

「Great property. Almost like walking back in time. The housekeeper/breakfast was professional and friendly. There was one small problem but it was handled quickly and professionally. We would very impressed with everything. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to get away. We will be back sometime soon.」

「This was super cute and cozy, we wanted to get away for weekend anniversary and not kill the bank account. Very quiet relaxing, little trail behind it was nice as well. We had 2 small dogs and was great for them as well. James was very quick to respond when needed something or asked questions. Next time we stay gonna try out the Skoolie!.」

「The home was built in late 1800's. We loved the charm of it. It has the wear of an older home, but it was cozy, the room we stayed in was one of the small ones, with a full bath. for a night or two stay, it is nice. access to the living room with a cd player, coffee machine in the dining room with a large table for breakfast guests. Books and games available. The breakfast was buffet style, served by a pleasant staff. I would definitely go back. It's a nice short walk to town in 5 minutes.」
