Host was very responsive. Cabin had everything we needed. View was spectacular. We saw deer everyday, a turkey flock and even the elusive white squirrel one morning. There was even dry firewood already cut and ready for us for the firepit. Great central location to do blue ridge parkway, waterfall chasing in brevard and dupont state forest.

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. The location was perfect for seeing the beautiful waterfalls and georgeus scenery around the area of Pisgah and DuPont. The views from the cabin were simply amazing especially in the mornings. We hope to book the cabin again soon for a weekend getaway.

The pics do not do this spot justice—a stunning view and lovely property. The cabin itself was super cozy. And it’s in a great location—a stone’s throw from the spectacular falls of DuPont State Forest. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Great rustic hideaway!

A great place to stay—and central to some great adventure motorcycle riding and all the other things Brevard and WNC has to offer. Of note is that only the bedrooms are air conditioned with small window units (no central AC). There are fans but the common areas were warm in the summer heat during the day. I did not see this mentioned in the property description, but may have missed it.

Great stay

We came for a quick weekend getaway and had an amazing time. The property was beautiful and the lodging was more than adequate. We had a wonderful time. We cooked both nights and had everything we needed. We enjoyed being close to waterfalls and didn’t need to go far off property. We would love to stay again.

The cabin was rustic and adorable. Particularly liked the coffee table shaped like North Carolina and the table set with acorns on the chairs. Loved sitting on the porch and watching the clouds float in the valleys below. And the woods are so beautiful with no people for miles it seemed.

Beautiful and peaceful!

Perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. We loved sitting on the porch swing, looking out at the the majestic mountains, and watching the white squirrels, rabbits, and birds in their natural habitat. Nothing but nature all around us. My husband is an avid mountain biker so he loved the close proximity to Dupont State Forrest! He also drove the 40 minutes to Ride Rock Creek. This cabin was the perfect location for all that we did! My one and only suggestion would be for an upgrade to the queen size bed. We will definitely be back!
