The only small criticism was that there was a lack of comfortable space away from the restaurant space and bar but as we were only staying one night this didn’t matter too much. "Don’t bring a cat - there’s no room to swing it in the bedroom. And the TV was comically small. That being said, it was clean and tidy and the food excellent. Staff also very friendly."

"The cottage was very clean and comfortable. It is set in a beautiful, quiet location very close to the path of Hadrians Wall. We had a fantastic time exploring all the Roman ruins close by (Vindolanda, the Roman Army Museum and Homesteads). Thank you for a fantastic stay."
