“We started our stay here at Wyndham as a convenience to Bellarmine University. Now its our favorite hotel. We stayed at other Wyndham hotels and received the same great service and more importantly, cleanliness. ”

“Just overnight after Churchill Downs visit. All employees were cheerful. Oliver’s was super excellent! Best biscuits ever! If only there were a good breakfast!…. Or any breakfast! ”

“Great hotel in good location. Once we were a bit surer of where we were, were able to see all the sights we had wanted to visit in our short visit to Louisville. The room was large and well kept as was the rest of the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful.”

“Super easy and quick check in! Theres a refundable $50 deposit that I don’t remember the website mentioning when we booked, as long as there’s no smoking/damage you get it back! No big deal. The room was clean, air was cold, shower was hot, and the bed was comfy! Bathroom was tinier than I expected but for just one overnight it was fine! Only complaint, when entering the room; the smell of chemical cleaners smacked you in the face! But we left the door open and turn on the air to circulate some……

“Overall impressed with everything except the lady in charge of the breakfast area. She must have never understood that the over encompassing theme of any inn should be hospitality. I have never encountered a person less hospitable as part of the staff of any place I have stayed and I’ve stayed anywhere from 0 star to 5 star facilities ”

“The room is pretty clean and nice. But the bed is horrible. It’s super squeaky and small. I was too scared to move all night. ”

“Nice property close to the exposition center. Free shuttle service within a 3 mile radius was a great perk that we ended up using a LOT! ”

“This is an older Candlewood property that has been well kept. Still it is not new. The free laundry room will make you want to gladly pay. It is tucked away in a nice quiet residential area and that is a big plus versus the other guys.”
