We enjoyed our stay, the home was beautiful and the view of the lake was gorgeous. It was a very peaceful location for some nice R&R.

The home is beautiful. Right on the water. The beach is very rocky but a beautiful spot. The bedding is very old, consider bringing your own bedding as the sheets they provide are thin and no large comforters. The beds are ok. If you have someone with special needs there is a main bedroom with a walk in shower. Very handicap accesible. The TV is touchy. The location cannot be beat. We watched the bridge and the island at night. Clear view. A real treat to stay here.

Perfect

Don’t hesitate to stay here! We came with our daughter, her husband, and their son, so she could show them some of her childhood. (My husband lived in Munising so Mackinaw was always a stop when our kids were little). We all loved how peaceful and serene it was. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and generous for the five of us, in size. To say our stay was perfect is almost an understatement.

Family Vacation

Our entire family (kids, their spouses & partners, grandkids, and dogs) came from all over with the hopes of having a wonderful getaway to Northern Michigan. The central point of assembly was this home and it did not disappoint. There was plenty of room, plenty of beds, and lots of things that made it a home away from home. No hotel could have compared for such a large group. Highlights included the privacy, the fire pit out back, foosball table for my grandkids, spaciousness, lake shore, and location. Everyone had a great time!

I really want to come again, but I wish you guys remove all the woods between the house and the water and change the TV everything in the house looks good and nice The house is very clean. Thank you so much.

Overall it was a good location and beautiful scenery. The cabin itself was a bit lacking. Quite dusty and lots of cobwebs inside. The gas fireplace that we were really looking forward to didn’t work and the service phone number did nothing to help that situation. They said they contacted the owner and would let us know, but we never heard back from them. The listing said they had satellite television but it was constantly acquiring signal while we were there. At least we were able to use Netflix! Overall it was okay but not the high reviews we read on the site and just did not meet expectations.

Home is wonderful! It was a bit dusty and we wished there was more seating outside by the water than a small wooden swing, but otherwise it was quiet and nice.

Excellent getaway

This cabin was great. Very spacious and well taken care of. Large open space with a beautiful, functional fireplace. We greatly enjoyed the quiet, secluded location, and the view of the lake was excellent!

Awesome Property

Beautiful home and area. Only stayed for two nights and wished we had booked more. Loved the house and loved being on the lake. Great being able to see the Mackinaw bridge from the shore. Fireworks on St. Ignace on Saturday night was a great surprise. This is definitely on our "Let's do this again" list.
