The exposed brick, smooth floors and open piping really leant well to the industrial feel but it was warm and inviting. We'd definitely recommend for anyone wanting to stay in the middle of wine country.」

Fishing was extremely relaxing as well. They had board games for the rainy night we had and the kitchen was well stocked. Loved it and would definitely try to go again.」

「Location was walking distance from several eateries, room was really nice and roomy, however most of the shops were closed. Elevator was broken, room was three flights of stairs up from the back of property. Family really enjoyed the stay」

It had everything we needed, plus extra thoughts from the owner, like little add-ons like suntan lotion for the pool. It is quietly placed behind a grand home in downtown Hickory. 「This is a beautiful spot! It rained and stormed our entire weekend there but we were still able to sit under the gazebo on the dock and have a relaxing weekend away. The host was courteous and allowed us our privacy but was available if needed. The neighbor was kind as well. They left us a basket of snacks and a couple of bottles of water which was appreciated since we arrived later in the evening. The living area is well equipped and has everything you may need.
