“There was nothing that I can think of that we needed while there except maybe a spider detector. This place couldn’t have been more conducive to our needs. The nearby park was beautiful to walk to. There are plenty of churches to choose from. We felt very relaxed and at home. The only thing that creeped me out was the big spider in my bed and one in the shower the next morning. Both of which were obliterated. Thanks!”

What I got was nesting eagles in the tree out my window, a nightly roaring fire with ample wood supply, super responsive host, welcome wine and snacks, comfortable beds and high end baths, white linens and privacy. If you don’t mind steps to enter the home, and some personal touches throughout (books, candles, travel trinkets, mugs, condiments, kid fun) you will enjoy your stay very much! Want a pristine hotel, choose a hotel. Want eagles, geese and pelicans + a private stay……

“Very cool, chill, peaceful place. Great atmosphere and drinks downstairs at the bar. There is food all on this Main Street. Just bring some comfy clothes and relax. Great little town and locals are all welcoming. The hosts, here, are fantastic, providing everything you need to enjoy everyday of your stay.”

“We were here for one night and enjoyed the property. Property was as described. Beds were comfy and it was nice to have a Keurig with a few k-cups to get the day started. Communication with manager was spot on.”

“This property went beyond my expectations. We had family from CA, TX, ND, and FL all meet up in IA for a family Celebration of Life. 9 adults total, and with three separate gathering areas, plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was very adequate for our cooking/baking needs. Although we had no small children, we did notice the nice-sized room with plenty of baby items. A small issue when my mother (83 years old) was the first to arrive at the property, she didn't fully understand how to……

“This is such a neat historic home with lots of room for the 8 of us to spread out and also be together around the table playing games. The weather didn't quite cooperate the night we were planning to have a fire, but there is a fire ring with plenty of wood available and lots of outdoor seating. The backyard is large and fenced, and we were glad to see the cornhole game (even though I am possibly the worst player ever). Communication was great! I still cannot believe how big the bedrooms are,……

“Quiet neighborhood and easy access to major streets. The apartment was true to the photos, very comfortable for two. Nice deck in the back to watch wildlife. Would stay here again.”
