Condo was very clean, and with plenty of space inside for our family. The condo is in a fairly peaceful complex in great location to the beach. Would certainly visit again.

Short Walk to Anything

Great location for beach, dog walking, pool, ice creams with the grandkids, shops, cycling, restaurants, grocery stores, and the best french bakery!!!Needed a couple of things fixed on arrival - management very polite and extremely responsive. As noted in other reviews, couple of areas need a bit of TLC - wife's comment "But who cares - not why we were there!!"

Nice space in this condo and a great location!

My husband and I were visiting Hilton Head to watch my daughter play lacrosse. The community is beautiful, the condo is spacious and everything was clean. We spent a lot of time walking our dog on the beach. The condo is close to the beach and there was lots of dining and shopping nearby too. Fun getaway!

Wonderful place

This is a charming cottage on the beach in Anastasia Is. We stayed several nights to enjoy the Xmas Nights of Lights in St. Augustine. It was a perfect stay and communication with the property owner was outstanding. We plan to return.

Horrible in every way!!!

From the time we tried to check in, and our code was wrong, which led to a two hour delay checking into our villa, and the girl at Vacasa didn’t even know the location and told us the wrong directions . The villa was totally and completely outdated and not clean at all! The Remote controls didn’t work because the batteries were dead. The tv’s were small and didn’t have a good channel selection. There was no lightbulbs in some of the lights and the kitchen was not stocked with anything useful. The pots and pans look like they were 50 years old and were so gross, as were the shower curtains that looked like they were from the dollar store! I wouldn’t even drink out of a glass! . The next morning our air conditioner wasn’t working. They did fix that by the afternoon in a timely manner. Just because this is a great location, I definitely would not recommend it to anyone! Please save your money and book from a private owner!

Great location - plenty of room

Loved the location. Easy to get to beach. Parking and pool were great! Shower curtain was dirty and we couldn’t get that resolved.

Okay place one minute walk from the beach.

The Moorings is usually a great place but this time was okay, not great. Some decor and furniture were very nice, but the couch is old and worn. The kitchen was poorly stocked: not enough coffee cups, dull knives, and loose fridge handle held on with screws and brackets. But dishwasher stove and Keurig newer and working. Lots of dust over doors, burned out light bulbs, and weird chandelier. Light switch plates dingy and dirty walls. For 3 grand, it’s reasonable to expect a clean place that feels and looks cared for, not just ‘some rental.’

Great location in the best complex!

Our entire extended family has stayed in the Moorings for about 20 years now. It is the perfect location just off the beach, a short bike ride or walk to the General Store, & next door to the Dune’s House restaurant! There is plenty of room to park bikes store beach stuff under each unit, protected from the elements. This condo was more updated than some we have stayed in over the years. The pet friendly option was gave us wonderful peace of mind just in case we had to bring our elderly pug. The condo was clean & the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes. Vacasa’s bedding & towels were all bright white & fresh, which is a big deal to us. The only complaint any of us had was that the master bed’s mattress was soft & therefore uncomfortable for my husband’s back. We had a great time again this year & would definitely stay in this condo again. Note: Other reviews stated something about a hole in the shower wall. This issue has been fixed!!! There were no issues at all with any of the 3 showers.

The pots/pans are warped. Doesn’t cook evenly and the master bathroom blow dryer did not work. I was able to use the blow dryer in bathroom with washer/dryer We would consider staying there again

Need to Repair Mold!

Our family stayed in this property in July 2022 and I'm astonished to read some of the more recent reviews that indicate it is still be rented out without fixing the dangerous mold issues. We began our stay over a holiday weekend so the renting company was nonresponsive for 3 days. There was SO much black mold coming out of the ceiling vent in the room with 2 double beds that my husband cleaned up as much as he could with bleach. The dryer broke within the first few hours of us staying there and it was never repaired for our entire week (we were compensated for this). We immediately let the rental company know about the huge hole/broken tile in the shower - I also cannot believe this was never repaired! You could tell there was a lot of moisture behind the tile. In my opinion this unit probably has quite a bit of mold and I would caution staying here until it is fixed. The location of this unit is all it has going for it!

Nice stay. Condo needs updating

We enjoyed our 1 week visit to Hilton Head. The condo location was convenient to the beach and Palmetto Dunes is close to all shopping and restaurants. The unit was OK, but the bathrooms and kitchen are in desperate need of updates. Tile countertops in the kitchen and baths give an idea of the age. The master bath is especially in need of tub repair. The tiles were falling off to the point that Flex Seal tape was used to cover a major area of tile. We didn't even feel comfortable using that shower and used the hall shower all week. The beds were OK but also really old.

Great location, smelled like mold

We come to Hilts n Head with a group of moms every Labor Day. We have stayed in this condo complex before and we love the location. Unfortunately this unit was very dirty. The house Mamelukes like mold, especially the double bedroom, and someone had stuffed dryer sheets in the vents to block the smell. It did not. One shower was completely unusable with Duck tape over a large (3fttall) hole in the wall of the shower. The fridge was dirty and there were multiple cockroaches. Also one of the patio chairs was broken and the remote to the TV only worked half the time. I called the rental office and they were VERY responsive and kind.

Steps to the Ocean

Very clean, comfortable furniture and great location. Construction happening in the building next door was extremely loud all day long. Otherwise a very enjoyable place to stay.

Perfect location!

This was our second stay at this location. The location of this property is great! It is very close to the beach, so it is easy to come and go as needed. There were plenty of grassy areas for our dogs to do their business. There were a lot of dogs and pet owners, but everyone did a great job of cleaning up after their pets. My brother, who lives in Norway, surprised us with a visit for Christmas, so we were able to easily accommodate him as well. Vacasa procedures are clear and easy. Everything was very clean. Will definitely be back!

Great stay

This condo was the perfect find for our family vacation. Everything was very clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the 3 bathrooms felt luxurious for two bedrooms! Best of all, it was just a few minutes to walk to the beach, and one minute to the pool, can’t beat that convenience! We would definitely stay again.

A few things

Overall clean, carpet has some stains not sure it was vacuumed before we checked in. 2nd bathroom shower curtain is to short and there is some mold starting. No toaster nor any salt and pepper.
