Comfortable Beachy House

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed staying at this sweet spot which is just steps from the beach, new pool and the Salty Dog. We had a tennis tournament and did not have to drive much, PB is right over there too. Sea breezes keep it cool. The house had plenty of room and was well kept. Would rent this again. Everything was easy.

Relaxing stay at Sea Pines

We had a very relaxing stay at the Beach Villa. The condo was spacious and clean. We kitchen had all the essentials we needed for the week. We enjoyed the short walk to the marina and beach. Our kids enjoyed riding the bikes around sea pines. Seeing dolphins every day was a surprise!

Lovely Sea Pines Stay!

While not our first trip to HHI, it was our first stay in Sea Pines. The condo was a short walk to the beach (and to the Salty Dog!), comfortable for two adults and three teens. We had enough room to not be on top of each other. The condo was well stocked, but we wished we had brought a fan as there were no ceiling fans or other fans for use. The beach was lovely and quiet. We would definitely book again!

unit is well stocked especially in the kitchen. major disappointment was the 4th "bedroom" which is a closet with no access to a bathroom unless you went through another bedroom or downstairs. would work for children, but we had adults. otherwise really great!

Great place by the beach!

I booked a last minute trip for our family and could not have been happier with our stay! The email we received with the check-in procedures explained everything and it was very easy to get our parking pass, door code, and bikes! It was clean and had everything we needed to cook many of our meals. I loved that there were new beach chairs and toys for us to use and that the beach was a very short walk from the home. We enjoyed the bikes and the pool and how close we were to everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Everything we needed was there. We loved having access to the bikes and going on bike rides. It was a very easy walk to the beach and to salty dogs. We are super excited about renting this place again.

Long weekend stay!

The property was nice! Just what we needed for our stay but I was surprised that the pool that is “included” was not free. Check in process was not problematic but you do have to go to a different location to obtain parking pass and after several hours in the car my infant was not happy about it. Although I feel that is typical for HHI. The location was nice/close to salty dog/easy to ocean but it was not very secluded feeling like other homes I have stayed in. This property is great for what it is but if you desire seclusion then I would go elsewhere! Bikes were great!! Thanks for a good time

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time during our stay! It really is a perfect location, it was about a 5 min walk to both the beach and the pool, and to the Salty Dog Cafe and shops. The beach was beautiful and we were able to watch some beautiful sunsets from there. The house was very comfortable, and we enjoyed having access to the free bikes and beach chairs! One of the bedrooms was very small and had no windows, it almost seemed like maybe it used to be a closet but it was fine. There were a few small housekeeping/maintenance issues but when I called the property managers they took care of it pretty quickly.

Ocean Villa

Pros: -Listing was accurate. Property was clean and homey. -Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes -Beds were very comfortable -Walk to beach was shady and less than 5 minutes -Property had 6-7 beach chairs available -Great TV's in each bedroom and HUGE TV in main living area Cons: -Check-in process unclear. Better directions needed -Obtaining pool passes was frustrating and required several phone calls to management -Bedrooms badly need ceiling fans -Circulation fan in master bath was annoying. It was noisy and ran continuously. -"Fourth Bedroom" had obviously been a closet. Our grand daughter found it cozy but needed an electrical outlet. (Had a lamp but could not be plugged in). Despite the need for a few changes, our family had a great time and will likely return.

Large kitchen table to eat at and play games. Cozy living room with a huge television.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location of the house and it was very well stocked and clean. Weather was beautiful and the location was in walking distance to Salty Dog and we could walk to the beach within minutes. The only drawback was that both the pool at the complex and at Salty Dog was closed for renovations and we would have had to drive and pay to use another pool. Hopefully it will not be closed for long but I think for future families a disclosure would be helpful if it will be closed for a longer period.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful stay here. We were a group of six: my husband and I, my 84 year old parents and my 18 year old daughter and her friend. It was a perfect condo and location for the three generations. We enjoyed the bikes, beach, pickleball and great seafood restaurants. The dolphins seemed to be fishing most days between 4 and 6 pm so we had lots of great dolphin sightings.

Wonderful rental

Clean, spacious and great location! We loved having the use of the 4 included bikes. Beautiful beach just a quick walk from the unit, and you can even see the ocean from the balcony. Perfect for families. Our teens especially loved the proximity to the Salty Dog.

Very nice property, short walks to south beach and Salty Dog. Very happy with the whole experience. Contacting management through vrbo did not work for adjustments to rental, though. Eventually did get changes in place through more direct means
