"The staff was very helpful and the property was gorgeous. For families who may not be familiar with this style of hotel, be aware that bathing facilities are either in a public onsen or you can rent a private onsen for 45 minutes."

"Peaceful and quiet. Use of private onsen. Not too far from the train station or close shops. Houses are more in the traditional sense which is great. Just have to walk uphill a little bit to reach the accommodation. Fine if a youngster or fit enough. Got a lift to the station when checking out as well. How good? Early June for 2 nights for 2 of us. Reasonable price for the experience."
