“You do have a golf cart available in the front of the hotel. You really should have someone drive people to & from the parking lots. A few times coming in to the hotel at night there is insufficient lighting and no-one ever to ride you back from the parking lots.”

“Quite a few of the family members were in their 70s and 80s. No way the cottages could sleep 6. One family member was 5 years old and is autistic. He was able to go down the water slide Twice and then was told he could not go on the water side again. The people 'in charge' did not understand what autism is. ”

“Cottage was clean & well equipped. Cheri is an excellent host. She has overlooked nothing to make a getaway comfortable for her guests. My husband caught (& released) 10 red fish during our stay. Our pup enjoyed the beach area. The town is a short ride away & had a few little shops to browse thru. We enjoyed our stay & will be back.”

“We had a nice, comfortable stay in Mathews. Our daughter graduated from USCG BM A School in Yorktown, about 35min from this property. She stayed one night with us, along with my husband, my father in law, two teens and two dogs. The house is very dog friendly with supplies and a big yard. Clean, comfortable place to hang out! Awesome communication with host! Great breakfast at Howard-Dooley Cafe just a few minutes away.”
