"We have stayed in this hotel before and liked very much. Very convenient location and clean rooms. But we did not have a pleasant experience this time. On check in we were never informed about the St Patrick’s events nor that breakfast that we paid for two (included in the rate) would not be available. The property was crowded with elevators full of people and a huge line that took us 1 hour to go back to our room as tone of people (not guests) were going up to the private event in the rooftop. If we were told on the check in about the events, we would have made different choices. When we discussed with the manager about the breakfast fee that we paid around 83 dollars, the only thing they removed from our fees were destination fees, around 27 dollars. Also, extremely noisy. People screaming in the corridors until 1 am. Do not recommend this hotel on St Patrick’s day."

"We had a lovely stay. The lake view was beautiful and the location was excellent. Staff were friendly and Chris, the bartender, was an amazing historic resource. Thanks for the stay everyone! Ya’ll made our first time in Chicago comforting. "
