"We went for a weekend and I highly recommend the Holiday Inn. The room was clean, the AC was cold, the bed was very comfortable. Two cons: 1: the room was that we got the room behind the elevator. While we did not hear the elevator, the layout wrapped around the shaft and that meant a narrow hallway to the room, which was annoying with bags and a stroller. 2: the bathroom door was a sliding barn style door and it weighed a ton. I struggled with it, so kids or the elderly will simply have to poop with the door open. The neighborhood is very central, so you won't need your car if you want to wander the town (I recommend Beignet Company for breakfast). The restaurant is great, upscale, and open late. Dinner can be ordered at the bar until 945, so if you get in late, you don't have to find a diner or eat gas station hotdogs. The staff was friendly, the parking was cheap at $15/day, the lobby is huge. I did not use the pool, so I cannot speak to that. The rooftop bar is undergoing renovations and was closed as of late July. They DO have cribs if you have a baby/toddler and don't want to lug around a pack and play."
"First time in landcaster for a convention. It was a nice option for sleeping arrangements. It still smelled new and clean. We could smell the wood in the hallways. Very beautiful hotel."
Beautiful Boho Villa on Vine in the heart of Lancaster
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful and comfortable! This was a perfect place for us to rest and recover after long days after the convention. We were a little nervous about parking our large Ford Transit on the street, but ended up getting the perfect spot right in front of the door with no obstacles in our way. The area is well lit and very walkable. We walked between the convention center and our home away from home several times each day. It’s an easy walk, about 5 to 7 minutes each way on foot. We loved the big dinning room table where we were able to work on our last minute booth details and hold our strategy sessions. The big fluffy couch and the beds are very comfortable too. "
"Cute house. Perfect location for seeing shows at the Fulton Theater. Local dining is excellent. The house runs cold, so if you like temps lower than 65 you will be fine. "
