“Struggled to find reception at first but it was in the Mexican cafe next door, staff were attentive, friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. First room was lovely, clean, it is a very old quirky building which I love but some may prefer more modern. “Room clean and well appointed. Had asked for ground floor room as I have mobility issues but not given but was immediately changed when asked about this. My friend was also changed so that we had next door rooms. I was cold during night but following morning was given extra duvet and maintenance came and showed me how to alter heating control. I had highered the bathroom floor heating instead of the room. Lovely continental breakfast. Very satisfied all round.”
