We specifically chose and PAID for a car park because Battery Point is so difficult. We could hardly use it, either local residents used it or the people staying in the rear unit with a huge Ute took over the whole space. The car parks are not properly marked and are very small. The kitchen sink was black when we got there, I had to buy a bottle of bleach. The shower needs the embedded mould stripped from the silicone and silicone replaced. It leaks into the limo on the side facing the toilet. Dust on light fittings, especially in tv room Linen was excellent, fresh and clean. Location and amenities in the area excellent.

We loved staying in this cosy, comfy cottage right in the heart of Battery Point. It had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. It was so easy to walk everywhere & especially to the Salamanca Markets. We will be back! 💚

Lovely cottage in a great location

We were a family (2 kids 11 and 14) and friend visiting Hobart for the first time together. We loved that this cottage fit us all comfortably and we had plenty of space for TV, conversation, BBQ, etc. The kitchen was well provisioned, the bedrooms warm and beds comfortable. I'd say the only negative was there is only one bathroom and the toilet is in the same room which made for some awkward waits in the morning. But we understand that's the norm for old cottages like this. The location was a huge positive though. It was within walking distance of Salamanca, of the ferry to MONA, the centre of town and we even had a parking spot! Not that we used the car much. Lastly, down the end of the road is the award winning bakery Jackson & Ross which really is next level. Thanks Sam for a great stay. Sabina, Glyn, Julie, Chris and Nic.

Great location in a wonderful cottage

We loved our long weekend stay at Berwick Cottage. A perfect location, walking distance to cafes, Salamanca markets & Constitution dock. A couple of minor issues were the entry lock where the glass was badly scratched making it difficult to see & input the correct numbers enough times to result in us being locked out from the front door and having to use the back. Also one of the pillows in one bedroom had dried blood on the pillow case & in another room a pillow had a bright pink lipstick stain. Other than that we would definitely stay again & recommend to friends.
