"Staying on the third floor during high temperatures can be tricky. The hotel provided three fans, however the parking lot side of the hotel backs up to a beautiful church, that has bells that chime at all hours. Sleeping with the windows closed made for some hot sleeping quarters. Even with the windows open, for some reason the cool outside air still did not come into the room. Would love to have had an A/C split in the room, it would have made the stay perfect. The breakfast was first rate, and having so many restaurants within walking distance made end of the day dining and a walk by the lake magical! A great stay overall, we will be back."

"Staff were great room was quirky. Comfortable beds plenty of towels. Great bathing facilities at the Lake. Handy for the train station Only negative you need something for cold drinks especially in the summer. It was great we were left a couple of bottles of water each day but they were warm. If you can’t put in a small fridge may you could do ice and ice buckets"

"Absolutely beautiful view from room, delicious food, excellent service. Historic charming property. A little older as it was built in 1870, but we'll taken care of and property updated. Come with the proper expectation and you will be very happy."

"Property is in an amazing location. Don't let the transit to the hotel scare you off. We did boat transfer and once we figured out the schedules it was a super efficient system to get out and about to explore. Staff was super helpful, couldn't ask for more such a relaxing stay. Would absolutely book again!"
