“The hotel is quiet and nice.The waitesses are nice and friendly. Branda is helpful.Our ranger Clifton has sense of humor.The kids like them.Nevermind is patient and helpful too.Clifton and Nevermind tried their best to let us to see animals as many as they can. We enjoyed staying in the hotel.It was an interesting experience. Thanks.”

“這酒店在網上的資料介紹顯示鄰近機場，但我到達Kruger Airport 後才知道Kruger National Park 範圍內有兩個機場 (這酒店鄰近的是?Parabula Airport)！ 由Kruger Airport 去這酒店要花單程R3,000，四小時車程(那裡是沒有Taxi)！結果我要即時由Airline 職員幫忙，臨時找當地另一酒店，當時十分狼狽及徬徨。現時我已返回香港，希望可向酒店討回已付費用。”

“The unit itself was clean & functional. What I disliked was I booked a unit with private pool & paid extra yet was unable to utilise the pool as it was very dirty with tissues & debris. The water & surface was also not clean. I did let them know & have followed up with a request for a refund of the extra I paid but no response over one week later…..”

“Gostei , o quarto é simples , banheiro simples, atendimento muito bom , Safari é muito bom , tem bastante animais na reserva sendo possível ver o big 5 em apenas 2 games, indico guia jhonsson. Restaurante é bom e atendimento também. Jantar é em um restaurante anexo com cultura local. Animais soltos pelo pátio , como “pumbas”, jabutis e impalas traz uma energia boa. As cheetas domesticadas que aparecem nos comentários não estão mais no Hotel. Me atraiu esse ponto , porém ao chegar lá já avisaram……

“Perfekte Unterkunft um Tiere zu beobachten. Die Tiere kommen ganz nah, die Elefanten trinken aus dem Swimmingpool. Abends kann man nicht alleine vom Haupthaus zu den Zimmern da es keine Zäune o.ä. gibt und die Löwen, Elefanten und Leoparden einem jederzeit begegnen kann.”

“Lovely deluxe tent with a spectacular view. No luck tho and staff was unseen for the entire stay. Pool was very dirty and restaurant was close. The tent was great tho and we loved the area.”

“This was my second time staying at Raptor Retreat and it was just as good as the first. Our lodging, the Hippo Cottage, was huge, very well equipped and had a wonderful view of the river and the animals. One morning, we saw a parade of elephants right by our window. I also loved the soaking bathtub that also had a great view. We did three amazing game drives with Keith, the owner of Raptor Retreat on which we saw an incredible variety of animals including a huge herd of elephants, hippos and……

“Just a beautiful part of the world in a quiet bush sanctuary. The accommodation, setting, ease of communication and overall experience was exceptional. The only complaint I have is with myself for having not booked for longer. I’ll most certainly return.”
