This was one of the most best travel expeirences i ever had. The Kapama Southern lodge is superb . The staff was amazing. the accommodations were perfect. The food options were plentiful. I recommend this property to everyone, and of of course the safari tours were better than expected with informal guides.

An experience not a hotel

The service is excellent and all staff go out of their way to make your stay memorable. The concept of having the same game ranger / tracker to ensure that you see everything that you want is to be commended. This is an exceptional game experience and hesitate to even classify it as a hotel

Muito boa ás instalacoes um ponto de atencao é alimentacao, como é tudo all inclusive, e eramos muitos amigos na mesa a comida nao esta distribuida de forma uniforme, a quantidade nao era suficiente para todo grupo. Tinhamos que oedir repeticoes e as vezes demorava.

Local é incrível, a vila que fiquei é super espaçosa, confortável e de muito bom gosto. Toalhas, travesseiros todos ótimos . O atendimento é muito cordial, faz com que vc se sinta especial. Tudo é pensado para agradar. A comida é excelente . Só tenho elogios. O Safari vale muito a pena , ver os animais soltos na natureza é incrível. O passeio com o ranger é muito divertido!

Sem dúvida um dos melhores hotéis da minha vida , os colaboradores ficam o tempo todo te “mimando” o atendimento é personalizado , fiquei doente enquanto estava lá , eles foram até a Farmácia comprar remédio para mim , fizeram dieta especial , levavam chá no quarto , um espetáculo , a reserva é magnífica vimos em 2 dias os 5 big fives , os guias não medem esforços para encontrar os animais e deixar o hóspede satisfeito , perfeito

Kapama Southern is amazing! I loved everything about it - the Villa was beautiful, the animals roaming free, the food was delicious, but I especially I loved the people who worked there. Titus and Elliot were an amazing Driver/Tracker duo and made sure we got to see some amazing animals, including a leopard eating in a tree. They were always looking out for me and making sure I had everything I needed to have a great stay. And Nkateko always had my favorite tea at breakfast lunch and dinner. I highly recommend this property and upgrading to the Villa with pool. I also suggest you stay about 5 days to enjoy the game drives, but also so you can enjoy some of the experiences like the Elephant encounter, spa and hot air balloon ride.

Great experience at Kapama Southern Camp

Excellent stay at Kapama Southern Camp. The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Game drives are excellent. The food is great. The lodge is small enough to feel intimate and relaxing. 5 star stay for sure.

Place was old and very under staffed.. we had problems with all of or food and they tried to charge me a 7x markup for transportation off the game reserve.

Amazing South Africa

We should have visited South Africa before, it was far beyond our expectations. We had incredible moments in Kapama, 6 safaris and 2 bush walks, our ranger Jaques and scout Kenny were fantastic, with them we could see the big 5 and much more animals, each day a new adventure. We wish to be back soon with the whole family.

Excelente estadia na savana

O lugar é maravilhoso, equipe fantástica, conforto extremo, bebidas de primeira linha, alimentação à francesa excepcional. Somos intolerantes a lactose e toda nossa alimentação foi alterada para atender nossa necessidade. No quarto bebidas alcoólicas e não alcoólicas fartas e de primeira linha. Limpeza e serviço sem falhas. Área de animais ótima, ranger e tracker muito competentes. Equipe do hotel sem nada, nada para desabonar. Viagem 6 estrelas. Ficamos no Kapama.

Home away from home

We had a lovely time at Kapama Southern Camp. Family of 5 was treated in the most respectful way and spoiled rotten. We had the best experience of lives. We saw Leopard up close, elephants came and gate crash our bush braai😂, the staff were just wonderful. Deon the best chef, Matt our very wise guide, Lot our eagle eyed tracker, Thuli our sweet singing waiter, Sheila the best bush braai helper, hands-on Hanneli that was ALWAYS near to help, sorry for not remembering everyone, ALL the staff made sure every little detail was on point and the friendliness and smiles went on for miles and miles. I want to ask Tourists visiting our beautiful country: please treat everyone you meet with respect, I have seen such rude people, it made me cringe. No matter of its a cleaner or a manager, treat with respect and you with treated with even MORE respect!

Amazing Honeymoon stay

This experience was unreal. The height of luxury in every sense of the word. We absolutely loved our ranger, Andrew, and Tom, our tracker, who together enabled us to see the big five in 3 game drives. The service was impeccable and we wish we could have stayed longer!
