It was an easy 25 minute drive to Bar Harbor, Cadillac Mtn and other popular Acadia spots. The kitchen was well stocked for meal prep and serving. Although the appliances worked well, they were old and the stove, especially, could have used a better cleaning - but nothing that kept us from wanting to use it. “Loved listening to the rain drops on the leaves outside the loft window. Lulled me to sleep nightly. And the birds and loons were a delight to wake up too. Kayaked at sunset and ebikes through Acadia. Fall in Trenton was a dream! Would come back here!”

“Lovely, updated two-bedroom house in a beautiful setting! Situated half-way between two Acadia National Park destinations - the more popular (and more crowded) Mt Desert Island/Bar Harbor and the beautiful (less crowded) Schoodic Peninsula. The house was clean and well-cared for with newer appliances and the convenience of a washer and dryer. Check-in and out was simple and Amy made herself available but we had absolutely no issues during our stay. Would definitely stay again!”

“This property was a lot of fun to stay at. It’s a charming, rustic two story cottage with plenty of room for the 10 of us traveling together. It’s 5-10 minutes from Ellsworth and 45 minutes from Acadia. We really enjoyed our time there. Our host, Jon, was great. Each time I contacted him, he responded almost immediately and was very helpful. All towels and linens are provided and there’s plenty of pans and dishes for cooking. “Overall the place was nice. We didn’t get a chance to kayak, but we enjoyed our stay regardless. The kitchen was well stocked and we made all our dinners there. The bathroom had some black mold on the ceiling, which was concerning. The directions could also have been more descriptive, we got there after dark and had trouble finding the place.”

“This adorable bungalow in Hancock is on a beautiful waterfront setting without the tourist hoards that seem to be near Bar Harbor. Great location- close enough to parks and cities to enjoy them for the day and escape back to the privacy of our cottage. The home is immaculate, and the owner has outfitted it with natural fiber linens ( the beds were super comfy) and great smelling biodegradable soaps. I’m looking forward to a second stay!”
