Access to beach was great

But that’s about all. The property left a lot to be desired. Kitchen was stocked bare minimum and appliances old. In fact microwave broke first day there and hose for outside shower had lots of duct tape to repair. Request new one and got it. Whole house was dated. I wore socks all week, not from the sand but from the filmy feel of the floors.

Awesome beach views!

We really enjoyed having a porch that was right on the beach. Traveling with our dog and one-year- old baby, it felt like we were sitting on the beach without always having to get sandy! Master bedroom has nothing but beautiful beach views! This was definitely our favorite vacation yet! The property was very clean upon arrival, and has a key code to check in right at the property. You can also rent linens or anything else you may need (high chair, baby gates, etc) right on the Ward Realty website, and they are added into the cost total for your trip so you can make one easy payment. There are vacuums & brooms available to clean up any sand that is tracked in during your stay, as well as a washer & dryer in the downstairs bathroom. Only things that were not provided were toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, and linens (which we rented). Overall, Periwinkle was a very nice place, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
