「We had a fabulous 2 night stay here. The room was nicely decorated, comfy beds and great shower. The spa facilities are wonderful and extensive - 3 types of sauna, steam and aroma room as well as the thermal mineral pool, relaxation pool and the rooftop indoor to outdoor pool with jacuzzi jets - heaven!! The breakfast is a cut above and we ate dinner one night which was expensive but absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend The Buxton Crescent for a luxury stay.」

「It feel very dated around parts of the hotel and the bed was rather noisy even when making slight adjustments in my sleep. Rooms were ridiculously hot when we arrived so slept with the fan on (in February) 」

「Spa was lovely and enjoyable. However my room smelled of stale smoke, the bathroom had mould round bath. No air con and window did not open. When I reached up to try and open it was very dusty. No mini fridge. At the bar I was the only customer, i said i was sat outside (in view of the bar) but drink did not arrive. When i went in, it was just sat unattended on the bar. Felt overall a little disappointed. Chose not to stay a second night. 」

「A very pleasant short break at Hollins Hall. Staff were excellent and the food in the Grill on the Hill was delicious. The leisure centre was well equipped and very clean. Yes, the hotel is starting to show its age but overall the stay was very enjoyable. 」
