Dragonfly Cottage is a two bedroom bright and airy terraced cottage, located in the centre of Holt and within walking distance from all the lovely shops and eateries. Just a short drive from Norfolk's finest beaches, the cottage is the perfect getaway and has the benefit of an enclosed garden, should you have a dog or young children.
The cottage is approached off the street, via a pathway to the front door, leading straight into a pretty and welcoming sitting room. The sitting room has a shallow step up to the dining area, which has a country pine kitchen table and chairs, providing the perfect space for eating together. There is a shower room off the kitchen. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms off the central landing and a separate WC and wash basin. Pease note, whilst there is a handrail, the cottage staircase at Dragonfly is steeper with narrower treads than a modern staircase. The master bedroom overlooks the garden at the rear and has a double bed and the second bedroom, at the front of the cottage, has 3ft single twin beds. A very pretty private and fully enclosed garden at the rear of the cottage, with a charcoal barbecue, provides the perfect alfresco dining space.
Dragonfly Cottage is only a stroll from Holt's vibrant High Street which is bursting with uniquely individual shops and extensive amenities. Visit The Owl Tearooms and Two Magpies for delicious pastries and cakes, and for a special occasion, five minutes walk away is Michelin star restaurant Meadowsweet. The nearest beach at Weybourne is just over ten minutes away by car and the rest of the wonderful North Norfolk coastline - including Salthouse, Cley, Blakeney, and Morston - is all within easy reach.
