The Neighborhood:
Located in peaceful Homewood, this home is the perfect base for exploring the wonders of Lake Tahoe. In the winter, you can hit the slopes at Homewood Mountain Resort or nearby Alpine Meadows and Palisades Tahoe. During warmer months, enjoy boating and swimming at Tahoe’s beaches or hiking the scenic Rubicon Trail. Nearby Tahoe City offers dining, shopping, and entertainment just a short drive away.

Getting Around:
If you're traveling without a car, the Hwy 89 at South St (Homewood Sign) bus stop is just 0.2 miles away. From there, take the free bus to reach Tahoe City in approximately 15 minutes or connect to routes serving nearby areas and ski resorts. For those with a vehicle, the home is conveniently located just a 12-minute drive from Tahoe City. You can also take advantage of the free park-and-ride service to access destinations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort.

Other Things to Note:
Please keep in mind that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C.

Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used.

4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel, even if it hasn’t snowed recently.

Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
