Great Waterfront Location

Really nice location and rental located on the waterfront. Very Nice dock and Clean House with all amenities. Very close to town and nearby restaurants.

Five Stars aren't enough to rate this outstanding property. The photos only hint at the well maintained and inspired, inspiring decor. The view shows you what Florida is all about. Sitting on the balcony, seeing dolphin, wood ducks, bluebirds. Fishing from the dock, catching gafftopsail catfish(a salt-water species), kayaking. Great restaurants and watering holes like Crumps Landing and The Freezer just minutes away.After sundown, we had a Great-horned owl "whooing" to us. The beds were so comfy, we overslept!It was really hard to leave "Casa Del Rio". Thank you for sharing it with us.Five stars!

Wonderful house on the water!

Had a great girls weekend here. The house is decorated so wonderful with a lot of attention to detail. Very close to everything and great neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Best in Homosassa

This was our second scallop season at the Retreat and again thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The accommodations and dockage were great, the weather cooperated and we even got plenty of scallops. All of my interactions with Evolve and the local representatives were professional and timely. We look forward to returning next year!

Awesome Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! The property was in excellent condition and the amenities and attention to detail in the house was exceptional. Docking for my boat was the best we've seen in our 8 years of vacationing in Homosassa. The property was Five Stars Plus! Next scallop season we'll be definitely be back!

Great place to stay!!!

What a beautiful house. Just perfect for the R&R that my husband and I needed. The location was great. So many restaurants near and tons of water sports which we love. The morning sunrise on the back porch was my favorite part. The house is decorated just beautifully. Would love to visit again and highly recommend.

House Review

We had a great time at this property. The house was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed using the Kayaks. The riverside balcony was great for sitting and enjoying the evening looking over the river. The only issue we has was one of the ceiling fans on the back balcony did not seem to work.

We enjoyed boating, fishing, crabbing and riding bikes at Liberty Park in Inverness.The house was perfect for us; however, the parking became an issue if you had a large truck trying to back in and out without driving on the neighbor's driveway. The neighbor was very mean and nasty even with an apology.

Wonderful holiday stay

My husband and I spent 5 days at this wonderful house on the river. It was clean, bed is comfortable, and kitchen fully stocked. The house is also thoughtfully decorated to make it feel like home. We tied our pontoon boat to the dock for a couple of days while we used it to take friends out, then switched it for our skiff to go fishing. The tides were really low, so we had to fender off the dock, but otherwise it was perfect. Our favorite part was watching the sunrise from the beautiful deck and seeing manatees and dolphins pass by. Our stay was truly a treat!

La Casa Del Rio - Homosassa River

Very nice and clean home on the river in a great location. We took our boat as this neighborhood has a private boat launch and was very convenient. The driveway is large enough for a truck, trailer and an extra car. This is a bit tight with a truck/trailer to enter/back out due to the driveway across from their driveway having a car/boat trailer parked directly behind it. Not a deal breaker but it takes a bit of maneuvering to get it in and out. All and all great location and great stay.

Gorgeous Home & Perfect Location

This home was absolutely perfect for our Spring Break stay. The home itself is beautiful and has everything you need to feel right at home. The beds were incredibly comfortable which is hard to find in a rental. Furniture was in good condition and the home had cute decor. The dock and kayak launch on property were amazing! There are kayaks on-site and they are in excellent shape. The location on the river is great - just a short paddle to the springs and to Crumps Landing (highly recommend). We fished right off the dock and caught a lot of catfish. We also spotted manatees, bald eagles and were surprised with a dolphin visit on our last night. Highly recommend sitting on the dock after dark and listening to fish jump and nighttime creatures. Check-in and communication from rental agency was a breeze. If you love nature and are looking for a relaxing stay, this is the place to be!

Great place to stay!

This was a great place! Perfect location and everything we needed. The only things that I think could improve would be the communication with the managing host (Nancy) and the accuracy of the photos. The furniture in some rooms/porch is different, the master bedroom headboard really needs replacing it is not what is shown and rattles any time you move and the spare bedroom had no couch or tv. None of these things would keep us from staying here again but worth noting. We had a blast!

Scalloping trip

The property is beautiful!! The house was very welcoming and homey. Clean linens, clean house, information about the area, and very well decorated! Communication with check in was very easy. The only downside was there was very limited stock for paper supplies. Each bathroom had 2 rolls of TP and for 6 people that was definitely not enough for 5 days. We also did not have trash bags and paper towels so we had to provide those ourselves. The neighbor across the street seemed to have issues with renters being on the property period. But that was out of control for us or our property manager, but it did make it a little uncomfortable at times. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again! Thank you!
