Le Doris, in the heart of Honfleur is a 3 room apartment located on the ground floor of the main house that you can see in the photo of the residence.
It has a large living room with fitted kitchen, a bedroom for 2 people with a double bed, a bathroom with bathtub, another bedroom for a person with his or her bathroom.
Free WI-FI connection
Beds are made for your arrival, towels and kitchen linen are provided. You will return your car to the yard to unload, then we can offer you a private parking space (box) for € 7 per day.
Why Le Doris ??? The Doris is housed in an old shipowner's house. At the time, opposite the house was the second Honfleur basin. The owner owned several small shrimp fishing boats called Les Doris. At the end of the day, the boats were brought up to the ground floor of the house to be cleaned and sheltered. Today, you may be sleeping there :-) On each side of the house are 2 small buildings, this is where the shipowner's sailors lived ... Continuation of the story upon your arrival on site. See you soon !

Honfluer
The place was clean and spacious with a well stocked kitchen. Its position in the town was excellent. However there was a slight smell of damp and there weren't any toilet rolls. There was a supermarket a short walk away so it wasn't a disaster. The car park whose price was indicated at €6 was closed and the one we parked in actually cost us €54 for the 2 night stop. Honfluer is a beautiful town and well worth a visit. The property is good value, although car parking a little on the expensive side.

Very pleasant experience
Had found this place a couple years ago but had to cancel due to catching Covid. Very thankful for the full refund we received so when we had to book again the choice was easy. Was able explore Honfleur and many places around the Normandy coast. Parking available (for 6€ per day or more) but not too convenient.

HONFLEUR, la belle
Location au coeur d'Honfleur, tout peut se faire à pied.
Ville riche de ses artistes peintres et de son architecture, on a adoré se perdre dans ses ruelles.
Seulement Hic, le prix prohibitif des parkings, si nous étions restés plus longtemps, nous aurions accepter la proposition du propriétaire, d'une location de box fermé.

Great location
We had a nice stay. The apartment was clean and exactly as shown on line. The location can’t be beat. The apartment being set back off the street help keep the noise at a minimum, It is a very busy time of year and I know Claire works hard to turn over this apartment regularly, We were just a bit disappointed in the lack of amenities such as no coffee or sugar (even enough for the first morning) and no napkins in the kitchen. Like I said I know it is a busy time but we just expected a bit more provisions.

Séjour de détente
Séjour très agréable grâce en particulier à une location conforme au descriptif sur le site.
Le gite est très bien placé dans la ville de Honfleur et on peut se passer de voiture pour toutes les activités. L'accueil était aussi sympathique par le propriétaire de la location que dans les commerces, restaurants, galeries, services de la ville. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de cinq jours et nous reviendrons car c'était trop court pour un site aussi riche.

Le logement correspond parfaitement aux photos ; c est très propre, bien équipé et spacieux.

Good place to stay
If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Honfleur that is right in the heart of the nightlife this is the place. Clair is a wonderful hostess and the property is always clean and comfortable. We stayed for eight nights this time and enjoyed our stay. We did find the restaurants quite expensive in particular the wine.

Well located quiet appartment in Honfleur
Clean and tidy modern apartment with comfortable bed and good shower. Living room furniture looked good but not so comfortable for evenings in, fortunately the location was so good that evenings in were not part of the stay! Would have been helpful if some basics i.e. washing up liquid had been supplied. Claire was very helpful and welcoming; she was able to give excellent local knowledge and recommendations.

Pretty perfect
Location, access amenities, welcome - everything about this Honfleur house was just what we hoped to find, and it all combined to create a holiday we all thoroughly enjoyed.
Set back in a small court off the main road into town, it was easy to find and the off-the-road entry made unloading the car a breeze. Parking options are a big public car park just across the road ( easy, expensive) or private parking (very cheap, secure) a couple of hundred metres away around the corner and up one of Honfleur's many steep hills.
The location could not be better - a five minute walk brings you to the centre of town, there's a supermarket virtually next door, a self-service laundry nearby and getting out to explore the surrounding countryside could hardly be easier.
Light, bright, spotlessly clean, well-equipped - the house was more than adequately roomy for three adults to spend several days together.
With. her prompt response to our initial enquiry, helpful replies to subsequent queries, friendly welcome and obvious care for her guest's holiday house comfort, Claire is a charming hostess and we certainly hope
we have another opportunity to experience her hospitality.
