The room was good, clean. Be careful of the in shower bath, as no mat provided and it was very slippery especially getting out! The food was good but service was extremely slow. Didn't seem to be enough staff, just 2 ladies working their socks off running the bar and restaurant.

For the price the raven was ok but room needed a bit of TLC. Food was good if a little pricey. Staff although young were very good.

The room was clean spacious and with a huge comfortable bed, the hotel receptionist was friendly and helpful. The problem came in the restaurant. We ordered a steak that was delivered to the wrong table. Once the waitress realised she told us there were no more steaks left but she could give us the steak that had been given to the wrong table as the person had not eaten any of it just cut it up!! After being shocked by her suggestion we refused that and she said well youll just have to order something else then really abruptly as if we were putting her out. We decided it was time to leave then and bought a takeaway locally and ate in our room.
