「We booked this hotel in advance, but our flight was delayed, so we didn’t arrive until around 2:00 a.m. Once we saw the condition of the hotel, we wanted to stay elsewhere, but changing hotels at that hour wasn’t practical. Hotels in the area were also sold out because of graduation at Fort Jackson. The staff was wonderful & truly some of the best we have encountered. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was extremely dirty & had a strong musty smell. I had checked the reviews about a month before...

「There were multiple live roaches in the room. The flooring seemed unclean and should be replaced. Under the carpet, the floor is obviously deteriorating and unlevel. Bed pillows were minimally okay. There was enough coffee in the lobby and it was just okay, but with minimal choices for creamer and sweetener along with just a few uninviting breakfast items. Front-desk employees were not especially helpful and seemingly unavailable, either elsewhere or on personal cell phone.」
