The east coast is about 30 minutes’ drive away where you can enjoy the seaside resort of Skegness and all its attractions, Butlins for a family day out or travel to Ingoldmells for Fantasy Island Theme Park. Inland, the city of Lincoln, famous for its cathedral, offers a great day out, whether its boat trips along the Fossdyke, lunch by the Brayford pool or a visit to the castle. The latter and Bailgate Quarter offering many good tea rooms, restaurants for refreshment, and shops to browse around on a day out. Pub and restaurant 200 yards, shops 4 miles.
