“Lovely spot- it was delightful!”

“We came in winter and we were the only one group of guest on that day. Room is not large but enough for two people. Water pressure for shower is not as good as normal hotel, which may due to their location.”

“The Cottages on River Road is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is terrific. The rooms are smallish but very nicely furnished and comfortable. It’s lovely to relax with a cup of tea and look out at the fire in the evening. Beautiful location in the redwoods.”

“Hotel was very comfortable, very clean and hosts were welcoming. Check-in was easy since we arrived during the specified time window. Our special request was honored. We only have one improvement suggestion. The hotel detail indicated "Breakfast Included." It did not say continental breakfast, but that is all that was available. That was a disappointment. No hot food available other than instant oatmeal packs, but a lot of bread and roll choices, yogurt and hard boiled eggs. ”

“Amazing location, very walkable to town. Quiet and quaint. However, bathroom door was completely broken and cabinets in general could use some work. But rustic & charming is what I expected.”

“We enjoyed our stay. The house was a good size but kitchen was small. Could use some updating and new carpets. The back deck was nice to sit on and watch the River go by. The neighborhood was quiet and nice for long walks. We loved being able to walk to the golf course.”
