The property was beautiful. Communication with the host was easy and clear. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals and dine comfortably. The beds were comfortable and cozy too. The best part of the house was the gorgeous view! We had a great stay and really enjoyed our time on the water. My family has already asked to come back.

Beautiful vacation home!!

This house was so beautiful and the kids loved it as well!! Had a fun atmosphere for kids but also a nice relaxing atmosphere for adults. We loved being so close to the water where the kids could fish and kayak. Definitely a great place to relax and hang out with family. Highly recommend!

Great Week on the Lake

We had a great week. We loved the lake house. My boys loved the upstairs and being able to have it all to themselves. It was very relaxing and we enjoyed our stay.

Memorable Misty Waters Weekend

Home, yard, lake dock and amenities just as listed! Beautiful home (I absolutely loved the decor style), amazing water view, well stocked with anything you could possibly wish to do. My family loved the kayaks and fishing off the nice dock. Wonderful weekend!

Very nice!

We loved it!!! The house is beautiful and relaxing. If you bring a boat or a lot of vehicles the parking will be very tight just keep that in mind.

Great property!

The property was exactly as presented in the description in all respects and we throughly enjoyed our week from start to finish. It was very very clean and inviting and well prepared for our stay. The "welcome" snacks were a really nice and thoughtful touch as well. Doug and Lita were excellent in their communications and assistance throughout the process. We would love to stay again!

Nice place

Would stay again. Pictures were accurate. Plenty of space. Beds were comfortable. It’s a rental so some of the pots and pans had a good bit of wear and tear from people not taking care of them. We only made a few simple meals there, so not a big deal for us. It was fun kayaking in the lake. Had a variety of life jacket sizes in the garage. Most things we did the in area were within a 20 minute drive.

Spring Break

The property was beautiful!! The view was spectacular! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The beds were so comfy. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. Even though it was pretty cold outside, we couldn't help but hop in the kayaks and take a little paddle down the river. It was everything we could've asked for in a spring break getaway.

family vacation

we stayed the week with our 6 kids and had a great time. i was able to cook some and let the littles get naps while the others all enjoyed fishing. we also enjoyed the fire a couple cooler nights we were there! the house is beautiful but the view was even better! we even got to watch an eagle catch it’s breakfast one morning. there’s plenty of space for our large family and they even have games and toys for the kids to enjoy! we had a great time!

Girls trip!

The best home for a girls trip to celebrate my sisters wedding! The house was stunning and perfect for cute photos and the layout let our group relax and feel comfortable. Everything was very clean, easy check in/out, and wonderful communication from the owners. The dock and kayaks available at the house made our lake day so convenient, the part of water it’s on had boat traffic but nothing crazy enough to keep us from getting in and exploring the beautiful area. This experience was very special, thank you.

Stay was ok did have a issue with the air and the neighbors were very loud all night playing music till 4am very annoying checking in didn’t get the code right away i to wait for it checking out we did get a little extra time that was nice

Fantastic Getaway

This property was everything they described and more. The views from inside the house were just as spectacular as the views from outside. The setting was quiet and peaceful. The house has everything you need for cooking and plenty of books and games to keep everyone busy. The house is just a fun house with lots of attention to detail and unique decor. We liked it so much we hope to make it an annual getaway for two senior couples. Doug and Lita, thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

The home was amazing

We came to fish off the beautiful new dock. Caught several big catfish and a few perch. It rained several days but we were so comfortable in the home watching TV and reading. The home had everything you will need....I have never felt more relaxed in the kitchen cooking and we have stayed at many homes. The home was very clean and well decorated. I know we will go again.

Great trip!

This house was so relaxing and beautiful. There is a space for everyone. If you wanted to play games the area up stairs is percect. If you just want to relax and stare out at the lake, theres multiple places to do so. We loved looking at the fog roll in on the water and loved star gazing on the dock at night! The kayaks were perfect! Everyone enjoyed using them. The lake water was super cold so only took a quick dip! We will be back!

Beautiful Home with a view

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It is very clean and nicely decorated. The beds and sheets were very comfortable. The house was well stocked with all the kitchen utensils we needed, there were plenty of towels and extra linens, and it was apparent the owners put a lot of thought into making their guests comfortable. My kids thought that the Harry Potter closet was the coolest thing ever and were especially excited when they saw the toy and game closet. The yard is fenced in and overlooks the river. We had an excellent time playing in the yard with the kids and enjoying the view without worrying. I would certainly recommend this house to others looking to getaway!

Wonderful stay

Beautiful home. We had a wonderful stay, beautiful clean home. Lake access is perfect. Only wish is there was some kind of shade on the dock and maybe some more outdoor furniture but overall we loved our stay and would highly recommend!

Great Getaway for a Large Family

We loved our stay! It comfortably fit our family of ten and it had the most serene atmosphere. There are two bedrooms on the main floor and a large upstairs with several beds/sleeping options. This worked out perfectly our family because my husband and I took the master bedroom, our two sons took the other bedroom and our six daughters shared the upstairs.We loved the large backyard and all of the windows facing the river. This house would be perfect for people with younger kids as it has a fenced backyard with two lockable gates between the house and the dock/river.There’s only a 16 minute drive to a Walmart supercenter. The kitchen has plenty of equipment, so we were able to make food for our entire family, the majority of our stay. We made an exception to enjoy pizza from the Grateful Head down by bathhouse row which was only a 22 minute drive.Early in the morning, and as the sun started to decline, a mist would form over the river, making it look quite magical. The dock is large and open, perfect for swimming and fishing. Several of my kids fished every day, but they didn’t have much luck catching anything. They did see several large fish, but there was a little too much intermittent traffic on the water from jet skis and pontoon boats to get a bite.It has been unanimously decided that we need to come back to this house for another vacation. The owners a great and responsive.

Peaceful and stylish

Well-designed home with incredible views. Welcome music playing upon arrival was a lovely touch , made us feel like we were on vacation instantly . Equipped with everything you could need . Having kayaks etc at your disposal is amazing. Home is a bit away from the hustle and bustle (to us that was a perk) but about 15-25 minutes from various activities in HS. Quiet park of the lake was peaceful, even spotted a bald Eagle- wow. Hosts very communicative and kind. Would book again!
