"The room was quaint and clean. There was a working microwave and fridge. Hot water in the shower. However, the staff never answer the phone. When we call and leave a voicemail, we get a response 2 days later if at all. They did allow early check in which was good. But when we came to stay in the evening around 10:00 pm, after our college reunion program, it was 64 degrees. The heater did not respond to the thermostat. We called the hotel number but of course there was no answer. So we had a really cold night and morning before we checked out the next morning. There was no way to confirm checkout so we left a note and a voicemail. It is unlikely we would stay here again, even though family live nearby. We have heard the ice cream stand next door is good - but we didn't have a chance to try it."

"Property was just as described. Beautiful setting and very relaxing. We were in town for a wedding and was the perfect place to stay. Scott was very accommodating and helpful when needing to adjust check-in time to work around our festivity times!"

Hemlock Hideaway Cabin with waterfalls, walking trails

"If you are use to camping and have great mobility then this is the place for you. The location with the waterfalls is absolutely amazing !! Just beautiful!! If you are looking for luxury and easy access then this is not for you. This cabin is glorified camping. There is no closet space or dressers so you will live out of your suit case. Expect well water so bring bottled water to drink and brush your teeth. Expect to see outdoor visitors inside. Like I said GLAMPING!! Getting into the cabin from the stairway is very tricky since it is rocks and stones stacked on each other that move when you step on them with a major drop off right at the door. Bring a rake if you want to use the fire pit as the area may be covered in the fallen leaves. Make sure you have your food put away and not on the kitchen counter space unless you want to share with nature. There is no tv or radio incase you want to see or hear either one. Totally unplugged which can be very nice unless there is a severe storm coming in and you want to be notified. The absolutely best part of the cabin is not the cabin it is the location. The waterfalls behind. You must be able to climb down the spiral stairs case to reach them at the bottom. They are stunning. You can hear them from the living area window but the trees block your view. There is a second bedroom with a pull down staircase in the middle of the living area. Probably great for kids but not adults. Just giving an honest review that wish others would have."

"Absolutely loved our stay here! The cabin was even nicer than we imagined and truly felt tucked away in the middle of the woods — the perfect place to disconnect and unwind. The lack of cell service ended up being one of our favorite parts because it forced us to slow down and actually enjoy the peace and quiet.The cabin itself was very clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to be comfortable throughout our stay. The host was incredibly friendly, helpful, and informative, making the entire experience smooth from start to finish. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in nature!"

"We had a great time! There isn’t much to do in the area, but we found a handful of antique shops about 20 minutes away, so we spent a nice little Sunday walking around Angelica and enjoying those. The cabin itself was very relaxing, and though it didn’t have much cell service, it turned out to be the perfect amount. We were reachable by our families if needed, but apps like instagram didn’t load so we were able to disconnect just enough. It was the perfect place to unplug and unwind for the weekend. We’ll definitely be back!"
