「We had a group and the space was efficient and easy to cook in and lots of comfortable seating. The beds were comfortable, we always try to book this place when we visit」

「The property was exactly as described. It is a very comfortable and cozy space for a solo weekend away. The Main Street traffic was near constant but not a nuisance [noise] and I slept through the night. I felt comfortable and safe the entire weekend. The owner checked in with me at the start and I felt confident they would be responsive if I had questions or problems. Would stay again! 」

「We had an amazing, peaceful, and private stay—just what we wanted! The location was great and very close to everything decorah has to offer! The fall colors were beautiful and definitely showing off for us. We ended up using the air mattress to sleep on and that worked out really well for us as the back of the futon wasn’t very comfortable, but great for sitting! We were never able to find the trails that led down to the bottom of the Quarry, but that’s ok. We didn’t need to talk to the owners...

「This apartment is very clean and has a cozy feel; the host was also very responsive and friendly. I cooked in the kitchen and it had all the utensils I needed, and it even had an electric kettle—most places don’t provide for tea drinkers like me! Be aware, though, that the apartment opens almost directly onto a street that large trucks sometimes drive by on, and that there is a back door into a business hallway which only locks with a handle lock (not a deadbolt). 「Rental is as advertised and is very large! Great location and walkability. Unit was clean and homey. On the “could e better” side…as others have mentioned the weed smell in the building is noticeable (we put a towel under the door), there is noise from the bar and the street, and the bedrooms need drapes to keep light and cold draft out. Would stay again even with those items noted. 」

「We absolutely loved it. Everything was very comfortable and the woodwork is beautiful. The setting in this historic building was great and reading about its history was very interesting. A block away was Cafe Sapori di Sicilia, a Sicilian restaurant of the quality you would find in a big city. We spent a day in Wabasha at the National Eagle Center which was incredible. We had a wonderful time.」

「It’s is a beautiful apartment. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to cook meals. The living area is very homey and comfortable. Bathrooms were nice and clean. We really enjoyed our stay. 」
