Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Cleanliness
The staff here is amazing there are the only reason I'm actually staying here when I got here my room was disgusting but I cleaned it like I always do at every motel no matter where I go but this one was pretty bad there's coffee every morning and it's really cheap to stay here and all the furniture in my room is made of wood and it's really really nice I really like my night tables the TV is big and it has an LED mirror in the bathroom which is my favorite thing in life
The staff was amazing, lobby was clean, kind of had a 'old smell' but figured it's form the bldg being old. Staff was also amazing at explaining where my room would be
The room I got, was disgusting. The floor wasn't mopped and it was very greasy and slippery, it had not been cleaned. The surfaces were also not clean, you could tell where the drinks had been
The bed smelled disgusting and had a dent, as if someone had been laying on it
It was body odor, cigarette smell and the grease smell
The sink was also dirty from something yellow? Maybe food.
There was also someone cutting their hair outside and they just left everything outside, including the hair on the ground.
It doesn't look like a family friendly place tbh
Seems to be a good option when you have no other option on where to go
Kindly went to the front desk and I was able to leave the property. Staff was very understanding
This was the second time I’ve stayed here. I’m easy going and try to live life by Alain back schedule, so I’m horrible about checking in and checking out on time. The overnight staff/possibly owners are amazing. They are open, honest, and fast. One of the guys had the cutest little pug dog that reminded me of the one my grandparents had when I was growing up. I was there overnight just trying to spend a little mini vacation night away from home with my son which I do a lot. He loved the dog and the little four legged friend was just as friendly as he could be. Again the only issue I had with this property was the black lady who works the desks in the morning. When I asked if I could check out at noon instead of 11, she didn’t care that it was Christmas Day when I had stayed there or that i was waiting on my sons mom to come pick him up and take him back home and she was running late on getting him. She slowed me no explanation and she just said the only time we allow check out is 11, then this time she actually was walking up to my room at 11 as I was walking out to make sure I left on time. Overall I’d still give the plAce 3 stars. Would have been 5 stars if not for the negativity of that front desk lady. Either way, I’m a gold member for a reason. I stay in hotels a lot with work and even though I like the this little spot for the most part, the facts are, there are a lot of other places who don’t mind if I check out at noon or one. So I’ll probly go there next time
I can say cleanness was a factor. We woke up to a puddle of water in our bathroom and part of the room for. It was a leak at the bottom of the toilet. We also so up to many roaches throughout the room. You get what you pay for at this place.
