Good location near transport

Good location close to train and bus station. Limited food options in the area and is a distance from the night market and sights, but accessible by bus. Friendly service from staff and room was clean and spacious.

It's a newer place and the room that we stayed is decent. The place is close and walk-able to Hualien Main station which is convenient if taking train or bus. There are many restaurants and eateries nearby as well. The hotel does not have any other amenities so, if planning to just sleep over, it's a good option.

Bad way to stay in Hualien

The rooms were moudly and the toilet had a urine stench. We had to purchase own anti germ spray to clean up the toilet. My family felt itchy after sleeping one night and we forfeited 2 night stay after enduring for a night. The location of the hotel is unsavoury as there are several KTV nightclubs around the area which isnt suitable for family. I have been a loyal hotel.com gold member for over 4 years and this has been a terrible experience for my family.

Efficient staff and unrivalled cleanliness. Located within easy walking distance from the train and bus station, I guess the Resort was built circa 1986 the original carpets, furniture and fixtures all remain today and are diligently cleaned by dedicated staff. It is a shame however, that much like Taiwan, nothing at the Resort has been updated since it was first built. The furniture is very worn and tarnished, the carpets worn and discoloured and the blinds/curtains in desperate need of replacement. With no screens on the windows, we woke at night covered in insect bites. The train from Taipei arrives at Hualien at 12:45 EVERYDAY, however guests are not permitted to check in before 15:00 despite rooms being ready. There is no indication of why Classic City is a “resort”, it has no pool, laundry, tennis court etc.

Well located near the train station. I could smell the humidity in the room and the bathroom floor was not really clean. The bed sheets and towels were clean. The breakfast buffet was not that good

提供吃到飽的中式和西式,菜色與房價的性價比高 雙床房間舒適,書桌椅,個人沙發和小桌都挺管用 最驚豔的是衛浴間,空間的利用很有巧思 二樓餐廳,會議室寬敞,裝潢典雅;還有24小時提供的咖啡,茶包和飲用水 一樓接待人員態度親切,每次出外,會得到笑容與幾句寒暄 離火車站(450m)和轉運站(190m)遠,每次搭台灣好行,步行回到旅館時,真心覺得不累,好棒喔
