“This is the perfect stay for a secluded getaway. It was peaceful, relaxing with a scenic background. Nestled right in the middle of the jungle,the lagoon is refreshing. The food was delicious and very natural. They had a variety of options including vegan options. The staff was very friendly and helpful which added to the relaxing atmosphere. This is definetly the place to go to get away from everything and enjoy a stress free vacation.”

“Very nice place to stay while in Bacalar. The rooms are very comfortable, could use some robes and nice local lotions but other than every room has a different view if the lagoon. Food was exquisite and staff very friendly and always willing to help. If you are interested in Bacalar, look up this place. ”

“Perfect for a quiet and relaxing stay. Beautiful lake views and easy access to the lake in the middle of the beautiful trees and nature. Short drive to town if you want to go out and enjoy the restaurants and town life. Would 100% go back, and recommend to MBH to friends and family”

“A family run small hotel right by the seafront. Clean, quiet and comfortable. The owners were also helpful and kind. No breakfast but there is a clean and well equipped kitchen to make your own food. Shower had good hot water. The only thing lacking was a blanket. ”
