I had a nice stay, i had everything I needed in the room. The chair in the room looked a little used and could probably be replaced, but other than that, everything was okay and I had a good experience overall. I will stay here again.

150 year-old hotel with updated/modern rooms & bathrooms. Clean, quiet, comfortable, good rates. Plenty of free parking. Very pleasant stay overall. If there was a business center or gym, I didn't see them, but that also wasn't important to me, and I can't gig the hotel based on something I didn't need anyway. I mention it here in the event that's a must-have for others. Free breakfast consisted of instant oatmeal with a hot water dispenser, tea bags, packaged banana muffins, bread with a toaster, cold cereal with milk. During a three-day stay, I saw scrambled eggs, sausage, and fresh hot coffee once, although there are single servings coffeemakers in guest rooms. No other meal service offered, and there also didn't seem to be other breakfast options available in town.

Over all it was fine- the bed was clean as well as the room but the general atmosphere is bleak and depressing. Run down building, questionable staff..but if you just need a place to lay your head, again it’s fine. I would not go back.

Perhaps the worst place I've ever stayed. I also think it serves as an SRO based on observation as a social services employee (identifying official lanyard) and her detainee were on the elevator with me. Cons: We were sent to the room and it was clearly not cleaned (towels on the floor, messy beds etc.) New room they sent us to (room 312) the batteries were missing from the remote. The TV actually didn't work as the room didn't have a cable box. The microwave didn't work. Internet didn't work well. Window was cracked open even when it was closed all the way. Right outside is a park with homeless folks hanging and/or camped out. Dead cockroach right by the elevator that we saw at night and was still there the next morning. I finally pointed it out and the manager removed it. Pros: So close to Warren street and all the shops & restaurants The shower was great The had a good continental breakfast They have a parking lot
