"Our family stayed for a week in early June and we were very happy with our stay. The house was very clean and well appointed. No communication problems with the property manager. We stayed with our somewhat anxious pup and she also fell into a daily routine and enjoyed her stay. The house is remote so we were able to let her run off leash without any issues (she's not a runner). There is a property next door but the people staying there were quiet during our stay. Made good use of the kayaks and canoes. If you're out on the lake, make sure you visit the larger section of the lake. The passage was easy to find on the far side and it's beautiful. Weather was perfect in early June and, with the property being open, we didn't have any issues with flies or mosquitos. If my kids were writing this review, they would point out that there are no working TVs in the bedrooms. The only thing we found missing from the kitchen that we could have used was a complete set of measuring cups and spoons, but we made do. The house is in dirt road country, but the roads were all well maintained and we did not need 4wd during our stay with the exception of one wrong turn onto a road that wasn't a road (thanks Google Maps). Cell and GPS reception are poor in the area so make sure you grab directions before you leave the house. All in all, we would happily stay in this house again. "
