There are friendly animals to feed and enjoy, as well as a beautifully decorated property that shows the love that has been put into it. The chapel is perfection and a great spot to meditate. “Tin Star is a great place to stay. Very close to the center of Bandera. The unit is clean and well maintained. Actually purpose-built to be a rental. The area is very peaceful and quiet. Super dark at night, so lots of stars. My only nit is the unit could use more places for the traveler’s things. Zero horizontal surfaces available. Dresser completely filled with bedding. No hooks or available shelves in the bathroom. Otherwise awesome.”

“As noted in the write up, this is a basic apartment set up that was perfectly fine for my two night stay. I was unable to get the Wi-Fi to connect to my Apple products initially, but the property managers were very accommodating and helping me log onto an alternate network. We never did quite figure out why my Apple products didn’t like the main Wi-Fi, but my laptop connected to it just fine. I appreciate the timely response from the property manager since I was meeting to log into a scheduled……

“This little gem has a wonderful, comfy, king size bed. Cute farm house decor. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need. We enjoyed sunset walks on the River Trail with entrance located directly accross the street. Fenced back yard for pups. I would have given a five star rating if not for the multiple step ups and steps downs inside the house. I would not be able to bring my dad to this house. I tripped going from the kitched into hallway. For the agile, this house is perfect.”

“We live in Camp Verde and travel to and through Hunt often but have never stayed at Pigeon Roost. After months of watching everything turn brown from the drought and watching our own large pond on our property get lower and lower this was absolute paradise!! We have always loved Hunt and this is exactly what my husband needed for his birthday! It was so peaceful and so nice to unwind and recharge. The home and property are “Quintessential Hunt” which is exactly what we love! We love the antique……
