"Fantastic stay, the hotel has been having work done to it but that made no difference at all to my stay.
Cleaning staff deserve credit for the amazing job they are doing it is NOT easy at all! Very very friendly.
Management were very attentive and had a good chat and a laugh which I find very important.
Breakfast was absolutely amazing would have liked fruit and yoghurt option with few pastries but what you get for breakfast is absolutely amazing & value for money.
Parking is easy enough, also plenty of
shops in the town.
Only downside for myself and partner is there are loads of stairs, we are both asthmatic, COPD and my partner has had stents in recently an suffers arthritis & angina, I know probably can't put lifts in as it's an old building but maybe offer second floor for people with medical issues? Over all dispite that it was absolutely amazing and I definitely recommend staying there"
"A beautiful guest house with a beautiful view across the water. The bedroom had a lovely sea view , comfortable bed and a lovely en-suite bathroom. There were many little extras but I particularly liked the Dunoon fine bone china cups , saucers and teapot a delightful way to enjoy a cuppa. Ken is a great host and seems to think of everything to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and a good choice available. We also enjoyed using the comfortable lounge which again had that wonderful sea view and were lucky enough to watch porpoises feeding offshore.
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Douglas Park Guest house."
"The cabin is in a good, quiet location on the village with a good view. Easy self check-in.
Cabin nicely furnished and very clean.
Comfy beds ensured a good nights sleep.
Close to local facilities in Dunoon and plenty to see in the surrounding area.
I would suggest you take your own towels.
Our second visit."
