Great place to stay.

This is the second opportunity I have had to stay here and will do it again. The location is great, the price is very reasonable, the room is wonderful, it's quiet and clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I didn't get a chance to have breakfast, but it smelled so good and will definitely partake next time.

The toilet tank cover was missing, cigarette burn stains in the bathroom sink… non smoking, so that’s a clue how old that bathroom is. The two drawers for putting clothes in are completely out of commission and not usable. Rug really needs to be replaced. But it was quiet, comfortable beds and clean. Breakfast was skimpy. Two cereal choices, no OJ, the waffle maker works, but was sour tasting. Butter pats in the fridge, hard as a rock. One choice of milk, very basic bagels. They only advertise continental breakfast, so they meet that standard. It’s quiet, nice beds and clean… but needs a redo really bad.

Checked in and the room was mildew-y and filthy. They switched to another room that the toilet was continually running, marijuana & toenails on the floor. Dirty bedding. Desk people were nice. Still waiting for my refund 4 days later and conveniently no manager working every time I call.

Huntsville visit

We were visiting family so we spent the majority of our time elsewhere but the rooms were quiet and comfortable and the assessable bathroom/shower made it easy for my mother who has mobility issues.

Horror hotel

The stay was horrible. At first check in was great so we thought it would end up being a good experience. By the end of the week long stay we were running out with my clothes still smelling like the room of mildew mold and sour rot. I had to wash them twice to even get the smell out when I got home. (They were only stored in the room the first 4 days) the dront desk was rude and pushing us out at 8am on check out. It’s was noisie and seemed like bad riff raff and what made it worse was the lock on my door did not work. Had to slam it to shut it completely. Looked like it had been kicked it a time or two.

I chose not to stay at this property after check-in. The exterior and location are both great. However, the property has clearly not been maintained. Upon check-in, which was pleasant and easy, I discovered deteriorated carpeting and wall coverings, the HVAC upstairs was not working properly, the linens on the bed were stained and damp, the room door was broken, and electrical wiring was exposed. The room was simply not habitable. The desk clerk was pleasant when I turned my keys back in, and didn't challenge my dissatisfaction. It does appear, however, that I will have to take a loss on the room fee as I checked in right at the cancellation cutoff time. I'm hoping that Expedia will make things right.

Other than the lobby and exterior, the place is a dump. Trash in the hallway when I checked in was still there when I left. Gouges in walls, holes in carpet, no room phone or hangars. Didn't feel safe in the room.

Pros..Property was clean, staff were nice. Cons..Needs some renovations. Dresser Draw was coming apart Plumbing needs updating. Every time you flushed the toilet the water would keep running.

First room had smoke smell, electronics in bathroom broken with exposed wire, bed cover had cigarette burns and maybe not fresh sheets, and bathroom floor was sticky. Clerk promptly got us a new room and reviewed first room. Second room much better, but TV never worked and hairs in bathtub and countertop. Clerks were friendly and helpful, breakfast okay and welcome.

Excellent staff and front desk manager. Hotel needs remodeling badly. Stay here often most times issues rooms lighting, cabinets broken, TV mounts broken, doors closet, drawers broken, HVAC equipment failure, reduced water flow showers water restrictor bad no 5 minute shower here. Towels trash not dumped changed out daily like other motels staff desk eager accommodate needed. Carpet worn torn, valet cart need repair metal frame detaches from base. Improvements repairs slow drains been made maintenance recently. Breakfast economy side no eggs or sausage clean what have good done well. Love location staff owners need invest facility keep up Red Roof Plus other hotels remodeled rates usually cheaper.

I enjoyed the stay. However I was scared when I first got there. Garbage and a broken out car in the parking lot, and the he wall paper had glue at the seems and over time looks like water running down the walls. The elevator looked like it had not been cleaned. However I had expressed my concerns at check in and they upgraded my room and I was able to meal prep in my room and enjoy a living space and bedroom.

Amateur Review, at best

First off, the staff was very nice and helpful, and reacted quickly to address one of our concerns. The facility is old and run down. The toilet seat in our first room was broken, so we requested and received another room. The toilet in that room leaked around the base so we had to use a towel to soak it up during our stay. The carpet was dirty and some of the built-in furniture items were broken. The couple in the room next door smoked and the smoke came through the door separating the rooms. They also had a dog that barked from time to time during the night. Walls had been repaired but not repainted, and lights in the halls flickered. This is a budget hotel, and the price was very reasonable. I could/would stay there again, but not with my wife, since she has higher standards than me. If you want an inexpensive place to stay that has comfortable beds and a shower, then this is the place.

The hotel looks good from the outside. Inside was not as nice. The first night we stayed, got in late and went to bed. Got up the next morning and TV wasn't working. Microwave as not working. Some lights were not working. One side of the room had no electricity. Went downstairs for free breakfast, had waffles and no syrup. Didn't put out the cereal they he said they had because no milk. Told the new desk person, they needed supplies. Also told them I needed a new room or would have to go to another hotel. They did find a new room which was nicer than the one I had been in. I had to ask for towels which I did not get. The staff did try to assist me and did get the room changed. I reminded desk staff again the second night if they had syrup for the waffles and she checked, and they did not. So happily they did have it for the morning. Price was good, pool good, people were nice but hotel is showing its age. I would stay there again as it was close to where I needed to be and didn't want to pay as much. recommend getting there early to check room.

Don't stay here!!

Check in was great, the lady was very nice. When she left and we actually got in our room the tv wouldn’t turn off and the volume wasn’t working. I spoke with a man and he swapped out the remote, not bothering to see if it was only the batteries. I had to go back to tell him they didn’t work either. He was very smug and seemed that I was bothering him. I asked to be given another room he gave us a room on the 3rd floor. The smoke alarm was covered in plastic, the light switch looked like they had been burnt, there was duct tape on the dryer, so couldn’t be used. The carpet was awful.. stains, sticky. Breakfast only had waffles and coffee but no sugar, seems they haven’t had any in weeks so I was told. The only reason we stayed was because there isn’t another hotel near my family, as one is being built now and in the future we will be staying a different hotel.

Took 4 room assignments before satisfying room was available. Two rooms didn't have tv's, lights didn't work in one room, hole in wall in one bathroom and water leak. Window wouldn't shut completely. Very dirty. Carpet in poor condition.
