“We really enjoyed our stay at Michael's house. It was large, spacious, clean & had everything we needed. Its a good location, close to the 5 Black River waterfalls in the Ottawa National forest and the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park plus much more. Lots to see and do in the area. ”

“This cabin was exactly what I was looking for. Nice lake, no skiers, great deck, good beds, good pier, all the kitchen hardware you could need and just a cute, cozy atmosphere about the whole thing. If I had one negative thing to say it would be that the owner requires you take your garbage with you. I REALLY don’t like added requirements put on me after I get there. Put it in the listing. ”

“Charming older home updated with newer furniture. Gew exterior things could use some updated repair, but not of concern. Came with a group of friends and had plenty of room and bathrooms. Awesome dedicated game room that even the grown-ups enjoyed. The beds were very comfortable and the host was quick with responding. I would highly recommend this place. It wasnt far from Black River Harbor and an hour to Porcupine Mountains. ”

“Roomy older cabin. Very clean, beautiful views. Has everything you need. Very warm cabin in cooler temperatures. Would rent again. Only issue was with guest toilet with flushing...property manager said you have to push in and down. Beautiful fall colors, deers, bald eagle and loons. ”

“Overall stay was nice and conveniently located super close to swimming in Lake Superior and a lot of hiking trails. Only suggestion for improvement I had was maybe making it super clear in listing that this is a split unit with an upstairs unit and downstairs. So if looking for something more secluded then maybe look elsewhere. But the other side to that is this being the perfect place for 2 families/friend groups to book at the same time as there is a staircase that conveniently leads to both……

“Like other reviews mention, don't be put off by the building exterior or common areas of the property. The unit was perfect. The loft did get very warm but opening the windows at night helped greatly. This was a very affordable and comfortable rental in a really great location. We would definitely stay again!”
