“The grounds and the winery here at Hessenland are beautiful. We loved being able to walk around and explore the gardens and lovely seating areas. The outdoor pool was a refreshing treat during this heat wave. The food and drink was fabulous and the staff wonderful, friendly, welcoming and helpful. We found the inn itself dated and tired looking. The rooms and sitting areas could use with an update and refresh like the rest of the property has had. On the whole though we enjoyed our stay.”

“We absolutely loved our stay! The bed and breakfast is in a perfect location. It’s just a short walk to shops and restaurants, so we were able to leave the car and explore on foot. The hosts are wonderful! They’re so welcoming, friendly, and happy to answer any questions, which really helped us make the most of our visit. “I was placed in a small room when the hotel was not overly booked. Online, booked a room with standing shower and was given a room with shower/tub. Very average experience. Nothing worth returning for. It was a room for the night. Nothing more.”

“Would definitely recommend! Charming and comfortable room. Nice touches like coffee and honour bar and locally sourced snacks. Bathroom was fully equipped down to qtips and a mini toothpaste. All the extra touches like a welcome note made it a place to return to. Restaurant and happy hour downstairs a plus. Apple Pie Sangria was a stand out.”
