「An old "dog friendly" cottage that has been modernized with double glazed windows, heat pump, new appliances (fridge, microwave, stove, tv ....). Very comfortable stay. It is opposite the boat launch and they launch boats from 4:00 am so take some earplugs. Good value for money.」

「Lovely big living area. The fire was essential as the weather was very cold. Great house for a family.」

「The location of the property had everything we wanted, the beautiful view of the bay with the stunning snowy mountains rising up and so close you could almost reach out and touch them.The beach was just across the road, ideal for a daily fossic among the wide varieties of seaweed and pebbles. There were lovely rock pools at low tide with some interesting sea life for observation. We would definitely return to K'orca Cottage. 」

「We had all our family meet over the weekend for a family event. 9 of us stayed in the house and it was just perfect for what we needed. We loved our stay there.」

「great place to stay」

「We loved the ample space. The kitchen was our favourite room in the whole house. Walking distance to everything in Hanmer Springs. Loved the thermal pools. They are a must to do. 」

「Lovely place with easy access to the beach. Extremely quiet and dark, allowing for great stargazing. Plenty of room for our family to spread out. Friendly host who quickly explained everything and was available for questions via text. Would definitely return the next time we’re near Kaikoura. 」

「Went Kaikoura Hop. Throughly enjoyed our stay. All very close and convenient.」

「It was easy access to the accommodation which was spacious and clean. It was simple and we were comfortable. It is in a good location with a bus stop right outside. Frequent buses go to the city center and we could walk to the beach. I highly recommend this little gem.」

「Simple, functional space in a quiet reserved farming area. The cottage had everything we needed, and it was just a short drive to Rangiora. David brought us fresh-baked bread, which was fantastic. We ran into some unexpected health issues and David was extraordinarily kind and helpful.」
