Avail till 1st September 2025. ‘The Huskisson Getaway’ is a newly renovated, 3-bedroom cottage situated in the heart of Huskisson (on Duncan Street). Located in the perfect position to enjoy the convenience of a walk-to-everything lifestyle. This charming cottage boasts a large enclosed yard, leafy gardens and is thoughtfully styled. Providing the perfect home away from home!

Best suited for couples and families, 'Huskisson Getaway' is a true gem- relaxing ambience, thoughtful styled and comfortable furnishings. You will feel right at home!

After a day of exploring our breath-taking beaches, enjoying one of our local restaurants or a whale/dolphin cruise. You will be able to rinse off in our outdoor shower and unwind on our undercover deck, amongst our leafy gardens.

‘The Huskisson Getaway’ perks:

-Lovingly restored 3-bedroom cottage, with one queen bed in primary, one double bed in second bedroom and two king single bed in the third bedroom.
-A short 3-5 minute walk to the famous Huskisson white-sand beach, local shops, cafes, wine bar & restaurants. A short drive to famous local breweries.
-Beautifully furnished, thoughtful and well designed holiday home.
-A brand new and fully functional kitchen, that has all the essentials: stove, oven, dishwasher, large variety of utensils, coffee machine and kitchen basics.
-Two large and beautifully styled living areas: one room for the adults and the other for the children. Both with fireplaces for those cosy nights in the cooler months and an air-conditioning for summer months.
-A gorgeous undercover deck with water and lighthouse glimpses. The perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or sundowners and a BBQ in the evening.
-Fully fenced yard (pets welcome) with large grassed area for the kids and the whole family will enjoy.
-Quality linen and bath towels are provided. All we ask you to bring is your own beach towels.
-Wifi included and Apple TV.
-Air conditioning in main living area’s. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms to keep you cool on a hot summers day.
-After a swim, rinse off in our outdoor shower.
-Neat and tidy main bathroom with shower and toilet.
-Toiletries and household supplies provided.
-Fully functioning laundry with second toilet, washing machine and clothes dryer.

Parking:
-Plenty of off street parking on driveway. Free street parking for multiple cars/boats.

Other things to note:
-Sleeping arrangements for 6 guests plus infants (1x travel cot available in cupboard, but no linen supplied for cot).
-We do not supply firewood. We recommend you bring your own.
-There is a unused granny flat/garage located on the property. This is not available to guests to use and will remain vacant during your stay.
-We ask you to read welcome guide once booked for further advise and tips!

Fabulous property with everything you need. Great location, easy walk to shops and bay. The fireplace was special. Hosts were great communicators and best of all - We saw whales on the boat tour.

This house boasts an excellent location, just a short walk to the beach and town center, making it perfect for morning coffee strolls. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. There was a strong, unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom drains, which the owner should investigate. While the two fireplaces were a major selling point, firewood was not provided, which would have been a nice touch, especially during the colder months. Finally, the bedroom description mentioned a queen and a double bed, but I believe both were actually double beds, so the description may need updating.

A relaxed coastal cottage located a few hundred metres from the beach and easy walk to Huskisson village. The house and garden are well maintained and there is plenty of on-street parking. Two lounge areas meant there was plenty of space for our group of 4 adults.

The whole property is just awesome.I love the front and back gardens for my pup to run around in. Two sitting rooms are great with telly in both.The beds and pillows are most comfy.Kitchen is adequately equipped and the laundry is fine.The position of this property is perfect for walking to a great dog friendly beach and also easy walk to the shops and Husky Pub, also dog friendly.The front verandah is a very enjoyable place to bird and people watch.This was our second visit and we are looking forward to returning in the cooler months so we can enjoy a nice fire in the wood burner or fireplace.

The property was clean and well set up with supplies of various kitchen and bathroom items. My dog stayed and the fencing was perfect and safe.BBQ on the front deck was enjoyable. Found the cooktop a challenge but Tania helped out as there was no instruction book.Access to TV/apps was great while others could watch other shows in the other living room.From the photos, it is not as close to the beach as I thought, but it is a pleasant walk down.Tania was fantastic and helped me out with a few things that I asked for.

Absolutely fantastic property for myself, husband and little pup. 4 minute walk to the dog beach down one street and the same to sharks net beach. Great dog friendly pub and shops within easy walking distance too.The house and gardens are great, clean and well equipped. Lovely sheets and towels, clean couches in both sitting rooms. A great front verandah to sit and watch the birds visiting the great banksia tree. We will return!

Property was very comfortable, super clean and spacious enough for 5 peeps and a dog. Kitchen equipped enough to cook and fab separate laundry area for all the beach mess.Absolute highlight is the location of house - 5 mins walk to either of the beaches, turning left or right of house for either the waves/non waves beaches. 10 mins to the strip of shops. Prompt response from owner when needed. 3 lovely nights spent.

The property was above our expectations, great location, so clean and well presented. We used the combustion fire in the main area, set our own slow cooker up in the well-equipped kitchen, sat back and enjoyed the ambiance. The second toilet/laundry outside made up for the single bathroom. I would like to have kept this property a secret, but the owners deserve to have it out there. Return customer for sure. Well done!

House was a cute older cottage, really well updated and super clean. Plenty of space for our family of four (3 adults + 11 year old) and the location was perfect. Walking distance to beaches and town, and 10 min drive to the hidden beaches of Vincentia. Loved the character of the place and how comfortable everything was. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Huskisson while staying in this beautiful cottage that is comfortable, stylish and clean and feels like a home away from home. The kitchen contains everything you need and all linen was lovely, fresh and clean. The location is incredible with perfect beaches just a small walk down the road and restaurants, cafes and a general store just a stone's throw away. Tania was very prompt and helpful in regards to answering any questions or requests. I highly recommend this gorgeous place to stay for your holiday in beautiful Huskisson.

We loved our stay at Huskisson Getaway. The cottage was perfect - characterful and in a great location. It was a short walk to both village and beach and was clean and tidy. It had almost everything we needed although some coffee pods for the coffee machine would have made it 11/10! Thank you for a great stay.
