"The Orion hotel is in a great location. Unfortunately, while we visited, it was on the heels of typhoons, and so the beach area out front was closed off to swimming for cleanup, but we were able to snorkel nearby. One of the items that really surprised me was how fantastic the breakfast buffet was I’m not a breakfast person, but it provided an opportunity to try many different types of Okinawan food, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Definitely recommend staying at this resort."

"We loved our stay here as an American family of four with teens. The buffets are wonderful and provide a chance for everyone to have something they like to eat. The resort location makes it easy with a car to get to some of the main attractions on the island without too much driving. "Not a lot around for selection of food choices outside the resort. Resort food was good, but got tired of eating the same thing over and over. This resort did not charge my kids to go to the executive lounge, it was included in the room rates. Some other resorts only gave two passes to the lounge, so call and make sure, so you dont have surprises when checking in. Recommend the executive suites, nice perk to have and you are on the higher floor as well. Teenage kids would enjoy this resort's water park and pool. Overall, great value."
