Tolles Ferienhaus!!

Wir sind gerade erst zurück aus unserem Urlaub in der Villa Kefali. Es war wunderschön, wir wären gerne länger geblieben.

Incroyable

Bonjour, L accueil a été exceptionnel. Le propriétaire est super sympa, discret et toujours prêt à rendre service (rq: le propriétaire ne vit pas sur site). La villa est très belle et bien équipée même si un lave-vaisselle n´aurait pas été de trop. Lieux qui permet d´accéder à de nombreuses plages et restaurants. Je ne parle même pas de la vue qui se passe de commentaires. En revanche, nous aurions préféré une literie un peu plus confortable (moins dure).

Wir haben unseren Vermieter in einem Cafe in Kavousi getroffen. Der Wein während der Wartezeit (wir waren zu früh) ging "aufs Haus" - ein guter Start. Die 2,5 km lange Auffahrt auf Schotterpiste zur Villa war gut zu bewältigen - allerdings sollte man berücksichtigen, das vor jeder Aktivität btw. Einkauf außerhalb der Villa immer die Abfahrt und natürlich auch wieder die Auffahrt zur Villa ansteht. Das ist ab und an doch etwas nervig. Aber der Mensch gewöhnt sich an alles... Entschädigt wird man dann aber mit einer wirklich sehr schönen Aussicht über die Bucht. Die Ausstattung der Villa insgesamt ist sozusagen komplett aber hier und da etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Sicherlich wird zum Ende der Saison alles generalüberholt... Der Vermieter war bei Bedarf stets zur Stelle und auch uns wurde der Start in den Urlaub mit einem schönen, saftigen Kuchen versüßt. Aufenthalt vom 27.9. - 5.10.2022

Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage und ein absolut ruhiges Umfeld. Die Ausstattung ist für 2-max. 4Personen gut geeignet, bei Ankunft fanden wir eine überdurchschnittliche Erstausstattung mit Lebensmitteln, Wasser, Handtüchern, Badetüchern, sogar Bademänteln vor. Man kann auf drei Seiten frühstücken und hat damit immer die Möglichkeit dem Wind auszuweichen. Die Zufahrt führt über eine etwa 2,5km lange Schotterstrasse und ist somit für SUV`s besser geeignet. Die oben genannte Ruhelage hatte leider auch ihren Preis - wir wurden beraubt. Entgegen den Aussagen des Vermieters, es passiere praktisch nie etwas und er könne sich das auch nicht erklären, scheint es doch öfter vorzukommen, dass es auf diesem Hügel zu Diebstählen kommt, wie uns andere Menschen erzählt haben. Passiert ist es während ich beim Sport und meine Frau alleine im Haus war. Also doch eine massiv unverschämte Vorgangsweise, die uns nicht nur Geld, sondern auch das Sicherheitsgefühl gekostet hat. Das Haus war verschlossen und es gab keine Spuren von Gewalt, also zusätzlich fragwürdig.

Schönes Haus mit traumhaften Blick über Bucht

Wir (Familie mit zwei älteren Töchtern 18 und 16) hatten drei super erholsame Wochen im August und September in dem wunderbaren Haus mit Traumblick. Teilweise war eine Familie nebenan, aber stets zu anderen Zeiten als wir und angenehm ruhig. Wir haben vor allem die wunderschönen Blicke aufs Meer und in die sehr schöne Bucht Genossen. Dort ist man über eine Schotterpiste und eine Straße in einer Viertelstunde, ebenso im netten Dörfchen. Die Vermieterfamilie ist super hilfsbereit. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und würden gerne wiederkommen. Vielen lieben Dank. Familie K.

Un accueil très chaleureux, des attentions très appréciées(délicieux cake fait par la maman), sans compter le frigo rempli de boissons et victuailles .. Une vue époustouflante, un paysage dont on se lasse pas, une villa où nous avons manqué de rien et tres agreable Des vacances reussies, je recommande la villa Kefali , la voiture est nécessaire.

A great disappointment and a terrible experience

The Villa itself was OK but it was not clear from the description that we had to drive up an unmade narrow steep unfenced road for about two kms, which covered the car in dust and my partner who has a fear of heights was very nervous. The swimming pool was unusable as it was milky coloured when we arrived and did not get much better because the owner was overcautious with the use of chlorine. It was not made clear in the description that there was another villa immediately below us sharing the drive. It was unoccupied when we were there but we would have been very upset if there had been a noisy family in residence. The most serious problem was that we had an intruder who entered the villa sometime between 11pm and 3 am on the night of the 6th September. I had a Rolex watch valued at £13,500 stolen from my bedside table. Fortunately we did not lose anything else as my Partner always wears her Rolex and all other valuable were locked in the room safe. When I told the Owner the first thing he asked was if we had left any windows open, which makes me think that it is not uncommon in that area, although we were not warned. The intruder got in by climbing across a gap to a first floor verandah and sliding back a patio door. We moved out the next day.

Eine Traumvilla mit spektakulären Ausblick

Von dem Empfang des Vermieters über einen prall gefüllten Kühlschrank - ein top gepflegtes Anwesen (drinnen wie draußen) war alles mehr als perfekt. Die Villa liegt in einem Berg und ermöglicht einen spektakulären Blick auf den Strand Tholos und Agios Nikolaos. Einfach ein Traumanwesen!! Zwei kleine Anmerkungen: da der Weg zur Villa nicht geteert ist wäre ein Jeep ähnliches Auto von Vorteil. Der Weg ist steinig (ca 4 KM) und geht den Berg hoch. Außerdem ist die Villa nicht "alleinstehend" - es gibt auf dem Anwesen die Villa Kefali und die Villa Gusto (man teilt sich eine Ein und Ausfahrt) Es sind zwei Häuser mit Pool die doch sehr nah beieinander stehen. Dies haben wir in der Beschreibung nicht herauslesen können.

Petit coin de paradis

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans cette belle maison. Tout est calme, la vue magnifique, nos hôtes charmants. La région offre de très belles escapades. C'est la 3ème fois que nous allions en Grète, et cette région nous a beaucoup plu car ça ne grouille pas de touristes. Le seul point négatif: la route d'accès à la maison. Un conseil: louez une bonne voiture, pas comme nous!

Exceptionnel!!!

Un accueil exceptionnel (gentillesse, boissons, gâteaux, repas du soir et petit-déjeuner, bouteilles d eau...), un hôte au top et que dire de la vue!!! Elle est exceptionnelle, elle fait rêver. Le calme est agréable, l exposition idéale et les différentes terrasses nous permettent de toujours trouver notre place. Un petit chemin nous mène jusqu'à la maison. Nous sommes dans la Crète authentique, pas trop touristique, avec des habitants très sympathiques. En résumé : c'est une maison de rêve pour des vacances idéales avec un hôte au top! One Of The Best Villas We Have Stayed In Plus Great Service = Excellent Holiday

A real get away from it all location without being far from services etc. The villa is a relatively new build, well furnished (although we did find the mattresses very firm) and pretty much everything its provided for: welcome food and drink on your arrival, all washing and cleaning materials, towels and beach towels, pool side and patio furniture. Kostas and his family were great hosts, meeting us late at night to show us to and around the villa. Nothing was too much trouble. As you can see, the view from the villa is amazing. The pictures don't do it justice. Try the tavern just outside Kavousi on the road east. It doesn't look much from the front but the view at the back is amazing and its the first time I have been to a restaurant where they take you in the kitchen to show you the food, which was excellent and great value. Overall, a brilliant experience and I would thoroughly recommend

Un vrai plaisir

La villa spacieuse, de construction récente est propre, bien équipée et possède un point de vue exceptionnel. Elle est située en hauteur dans la garrigue sans vis à vis pour l'instant.et surplombe l'ile de Pseira. L'accueil a été sympathique, dommage que le barrage de la langue ne nous est pas permis de faire plus ample connaissance. La piscine permet de se rafraichir lorsque la chaleur monte assez haut. Trois terrasses sont disponibles. A l'arrivée le frigo est rempli, pas besoin de ressortir faire les courses, cela peut attendre le lendemain. Des patisseries sont régulièrement déposées et plusieurs packs d'eau sont à disposition, On ne peut légitimement pas demander plus. C'est une une particularité de la Crète que de recevoir ainsi. La région alentour est magnifique et n'est pas en reste au point de vue culturel. Bref que du bonheur.

Toller Ausblick, Ruhe, super Gastgeber

Der Ausblick ist wirklich schön, absolut ruhig gelegen. Die Gastgeber haben uns sogar den Kühlschrank gefüllt, toller Service. Das Haus ist sauber und ziemlich neu. Leider hatte unser Junior als 5. Gast nur ein Feldbett. Man fährt 10 Minuten Schotterpiste zum Haus, sollte man wissen. Aber der Ausblick entschädigt!

Lovely villa.Fantastic views.Best welcome pack ever.Try it!

Villa Kefali is almost brand new.It is located down a track about 3 km from Kavousi which is a working Cretan village and not a tourist resort. It is in a quiet position and as you can see from the photos you can sit on the terrace in the evening and watch the sun go down over the hills opposite while listening to the frogs and other wild life in the surrounding olive groves. Every care is taken by the owner to ensure you have a lovely holiday. On arrival we found the fridge and kitchen cupboards stocked with all the basic food and drink we could require. and after that we were visited regularly to ensure that all was in order .Almost every time we had a visit we received a gift of fruit and other treats. There are lots of lovely walks in the Kavousi area ; numerous archaeological remains to be seen;almost deserted beaches and charming villages in this part of Crete. We had a fantastic holiday and would love to return.
