"The hotel is well overdue for a makeover, the staff, however, are excellent, although they forgot to service our room on a 2 night stay. The room was extremely disappointing, being both small & very, very scruffy. The position of the hotel is absolutely perfect for exploring Ilfracombe, if staying again will book direct with the hotel and ask for specific rooms, in all a very enjoyable visit, apart from the accommodation, the breakfast was excellent! Mark and Shirley"

"We had a lovely stay at The Olive Branch. The room was clean with a really comfy bed and excellent shower. The breakfast was very good with a range of cereals, fruit and yoghurt, juices as well as full cooked breakfast. If you’re there on a Thursday you can see the local sea shanty group rehearse who were brilliant. Would highly recommend!"

"Great room if you can survive the 6 flights of stairs lol - you are warned but it’s 6 not 3. Lovely clean place but take ear plugs as the Wetherspoons next door are there bottling up early."

"The apartment was light and airy. Plenty of room for our family of 4. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect and very easy to park in the nearby car park. All in all, a very pleasant stay... The only thing that might be a problem for some is climbing the staircase with luggage and I don't remember reading anything about multiple flights of stairs."

"It was a great stay, nice facilities and amazing staff. The only reason I wouldn't say 5 is: - check in was delayed by an hour or so. - there was no spatula. - the hob fan and light didn't work - the microwave defrost was more like full power. - I didn't know what to do with the bins. Maybe I missed this somewhere. Would stay again"

"If you don’t mind climbing 4 flights of stairs you are in for a treat. Stylishly decorated and superb view.Peaceful, very comfortable bed. The flat is kitted out with all you will need and located close to restaurants and facilities. Parking in Ropery Road car park recommended early and is only a 4 min walk away."
